Now see, that's a threat. That's not a reasoned argument, meant to appeal to another person's reason. That's a threat meant to over ride reason. Is that how you became a believer, were you scared into it?

I think it's great how the words of Charles Spurgeon are not words of Calvinism. To say sinners need the Law to bring them to Christ assumes they can choose to come to Christ, or to reject Him. I believe that the only saved Calvinist, is an inconsistent Calvinist. Even though, i believe John Calvin is crying from Hell right now, Charles Spurgeon is probably in paradise. We will know for sure on judgment day.
