Bush was on the first plane to hit WTC and parachuted out at the last minute shouting "mission accomplished!". If you look at the film footage you can see his parachute, it says "Don't mess with Texas" on it.
Cheney piloted the other plane that crashed into the WTC. He died and the GOP replaced him with a robot clone.
