Don't scratch the pads. Follow the traces from the button and you will find a circular pad. Scratch that instead and your wires won't be in the way of the button when pressed. FYI, if you have never done any soldering or modding. It's a long learning process and chances are, you will jack up your first board. By the way, use a smaller wire OMG.

But on older cames you shouldn't because Microsoft doesn't check them, what I mean by that is there are people who work for microsoft who play the games to check for modders, these people only check the lates games not the older games.

Great commentary, you can do all this and get ur self a pretty cool mod, but the fact is your going to fuck up your first 2 controllers then you'll get it done the third time but it'll look like Chinese slave worker did it. So why not just buy a modded controller that looks nice and costs less than 3 controllers? Shit.....

This isn't a drop shot button, it's an "alternatively placed B button" drop shot buttons drop and shoot from one button, you have two!
