  • Holy shit! A PWEI cover! Is this from a PWEI cover compilation????

  • @somedudeinva The cover is off of Die Krupps 2007 Too Much History, a 2 disc best of album.

  • musically, not too bad of a cover, but it's not nearly as good as PWEI's original version. color me unimpressed

  • @cadguync Well, beyond the fact that the words are actually clearly said this is an improvement.

  • This version of the song must have PWEI tossing in their sleep (hee hee)...

The entire spirit and meaning of the song has been lost/warped with this utterly shit cover...

  • Oh fuck you! What about the Muslims waging jihad against everybody? I don't see Christian terrorists setting off bombs and hijacking planes, you stupid fucking dickhead.

  • hitler oli paras jätkä päällä maan.

  • hmmmmmmmmmm...loved krupps in late 90s......

    POP WILL EAT ITSELF!

  • crap pwei did it more justice im not feeling this version sorry

  • oh no they re-made PWEI :D.. I loved this song!!!

  • where is this vid from?

  • This is the Remaster/Remix from '07

  • Pop Will Eat Itself released this song in 1994. Die Krupps covered it at some point, but I don't think they covered it in 2007. The song refers to english attitudes towards immigration, and it has been updated by Die Krupps. I'm still figuring out what is the extra line between "If you think this doesn't include you" and "Then we are all outsiders".

  • @Noggtroll "If you think this doesn't include you. Draws an X on the back like we're all outsiders. Take this to a power of 10, and not for the first time." Grammar's kinda off, but that's what it is.

  • @Daeymien Thanks.

  • WINAMP!!!

  • Gutes.

  • Great song! Unfortunately I don't really understand the questionables that simply don't get it.

  • Pop Will Eat Itself!

  • despite any message in the words. i think it was a well played trance-ic type jam. i loved it ...good background ambiance.

  • Not good as the orginal version, btw the guy sounds like a hillbilly.

  • die-krupps.ru for fans...

  • scherz;)

  • nazi

  • How naive song... The foreigners can never be racists themselves..?

  • Thilo Sarrazin listened to this song when he was writing his book.

  • @agt334 WTF? Did you actually read the lyrics?

  • @wickerman0176 My comment was just a joke. Don't take it serious.

  • @agt334 Okay, I wanted to be sure about that xD

  • THIS IS p w e i cover

  • Although I am a fascist I must say this is a well-played song. A bit too left-wing, but still ok.

  • @ Eikinscialdi ..pain meds or not - you were right lol

  • True Aelkamal. if it pissed you off i am sorry was a very very late night ramble with pain med's.

  • every time i listen to this Song i think of the Christain view's agenst Every one NOT christian. and how if given a free hand thay are just as bad as the nazi's. thay have distroyed countless culture's and reglion's becasue it was "Evil" and every one is wrong so you must submit to there view's and that is it. Sorry for the spelling misstake's falling asleep here so what ever.

  • @Eikinscialdi bullshit, it's not a religion that kills, it's how you interprete the message... nobody's perfect sadly.

  • @Eikinscialdi the nazi's were christians aswell

no one sees a link ?

  • @Eikinscialdi

    Well done, pre-school philosphy.

But doesn't that apply to pretty much every religion? What about the western world?

Ever since the romans, we have wanted to change every 3rd world country to similiar to our own. For what?

Why do we want a one united world? Man will always find an idiotic reason to kill each other, with or without religion.

  • ugh this proves why I could never get into Die Krupps... emotionless stuff. at least Clint had balls when he belted this, long live PWEI :)

  • No this isnt about Bush or Obama and no it isnt a 2007 song. god's Look it up will you plz .

  • @Eikinscialdi According to Wikipedia, it was based on the uprise of racial tension throughout Britain during 1994, which is when the song was published . . . well before Bush or Obama. Normally I'm a big Die Krupps fan (love their Metallica tribute) but this one is a bit lacking. Still, a respectable cover.

  • @evildnalor Yes, this song from 2007 is about Obama as a president.

  • @gaijinplus1 actually, the song is from like 1994, lol.

  • "If you think this doesn't include you" something "the fact we're all outsiders".

That's not in the original either.

  • Tudod jól, hogy nagy kedvenc dalom!;)

    Pusszantás!

  • Its almost not a cover. Die Krupps has 1 added lyrical line.

    "And its happening again."

^ To my knowledge that is not in the PWEI verison

  • "And not for the first time, it's happening again."

    Not in the PWEI version.

  • @Noggtroll They're 4 lines.

Starting from: "If you think this doesn't include you" until "it's happenning again"... I can't understand the lines in the middl.

  • @FlederKrist

"If you think this doesn't include you. ... Then we are all outsiders and not for the first time. It's happening again."

    Thats what I can hear.

  • It's a Pop Will Eat Itself cover btw ;)

  • Kickass song :) 5 stars

  • Love the new lyrics!

  • Nice I love their take on this song, very good!
