  • thrash version of Children of the Grave

  • fan:hey randy may i touch ur guitar? randy:idk can u make a pig fly? you no why dont u youst buy ur own costom million guitar you bitch!

  • This is a good version but i like the original one more

  • RANDY was such a inovative guitar player. He did many things with the guitar.

  • So much idiots on here. I love this version with Randy and I love Tonys version too. Two different styles of music too so you can't really compare when one guitarist is more classical based opposed to the other one who is more blues based.

  • lo que teneis que hacer es respetar la memoria de RANDY RHOADS cada uno tiene su estilo totalmente diferente.Randy tiene sus propios temas que son para toda la vida.A si que un respeto por su memoria.RANDY RHOADS para siempre

  • kick assholes ! thanx for sharing dude !

  • Randy rewrote this song. New arrangements, a wonderful solo. Legend

  • stop comparing randy and tony o.O

  • Randy is fucking dead you fuckin' posers! IOMMI RULES

  • 5th dislike! LOL

  • @XcoldazzzX Shut the fuck up you idiot nolife. You think making fun of dead people is a way to be cool? Well, I'll tell you it's a way to get some black eyes FAST! And for the record, yes I believe the Iommi version of this song is better

  • @ThatMysteryNoise go fuck yourself you "i worship dead fucking people" loser.Pussy faced American cunt.

  • @XcoldazzzX Hey, I know the guy's a total douche but there's no need to be racist. Not all Americans are assholes, just the ignorant ones you have to watch for.

  • @ThatMysteryNoise I'm really shaking in my undies right now...fag.

  • \M/

  • Randy is awesome but this is too fast the original is has a much more slow groove chugg thats un-touchable \m/

  • @MrAdammassacre That's true and I think the ozzy fans were different. They enjoyed hearing fast guitar riffs.

  • @MrAdammassacre ur a pussy

  • @MrAdammassacre i think this version is better than Sabbaths...

  • @MrAdammassacre Sorry man. Ive listened to both pieces hundreds of times. And what Randy does with this is untouchable. The original to me is not boring, but its a little bland, All the little fills and tweaks randy does really makes this song. AND THE SOLO, MIGHT BE ONE OF THE BEST EXCERPT FROM A SONG I HAVE EVER HEARD.

  • best guitarist ever. Best singer ever.

  • If I'm not mistaken, it sounds like Tommy Aldridge is behind the drumkit on this one.

  • @rockNrollmobster Think you are correct my goodfellow!!!

  • 3:15 OMF GOD best guitar solo ever !

  • As epic as this and every other song on this album is, did anyone else get annoyed with Ozzy introducing every single song by name and wish he would STFU?

  • @RoyalGrigsby I didnt, this album is a masterpiece for any RR fan

  • @RoyalGrigsby Maybe under their breathe, but not out loud when you made the dough they made and the perks that go along with touring with a superstar!!! It's still a business, folks!!!

  • I will be nice. 4 people are deaf!!

  • Randy Rhoads guitar playing is eargasmic.

  • @riverlioness that's an understatment ^^

  • Who's coming to Hammersmith on the 21st? LET ME SEE YOUR FUCKING HANDS!

  • @wandererlain i shall be there!!

  • Randy went out of this world too soon...His music live's on through film. He was the best!

  • ok apparently I JUST HAD A MAJOR brainfart..forgive me everyone. Jason Becker to my knowledge is NOT dead. AGAIN I APOLOGIZE. ( face palm)

  • 4 people dont have a damn clue what TRUE talent, skill, and raw old school metal shredding is. I bet Jason Becker & Randy Rhoads would have created some AWESOME shit together before Becker got Lou Gehrig's disease in ( think ) the early 90's and died. Shit if it was anything as bad ass as Speed Metal Symphony, or Cacophony, or Perpetual Burn. DAMn :D. Idea for an epic band. Randy Rhoads, Jason Becker, Joe Satriani, the drummer from Rush, Ronnie James Dio as leader singer. BRING IT! :D

  • @chronofusion Absolutely goddamn right, man!

  • r.i.p randy rhoads...possibly the BRANDON LEE of the guitar world. SOOO much beyond extraordinary potential!

  • The YEAH at the beginning of this one is better than on any other live recording.

  • Yeah really this recording is off the hook and very under rated Randy practiced hard and loved it. He deserved every thing accept that horrible crash

  • rhandy rhoads and tony iommi are both great guitar players abd have their own styles.

  • @Forumamt dude be a jackass and go look up a Randy Rhoads video even though you don't like him watch the video then say he sucks. Its obvious that Randy wrote crazy train which is the only song some people know by ozzy. And I don't see why you hate Randy Rhoads he's a very very good player and has a good style. And i bet you listen to dragonforce thinking that they actually can play that fast

  • Uno de los mejores solos que haya escuchado 3:10 , me transporta a las membranas mas obscuras de mi mente demente.

  • Randy Rhoads is the best guitar player of all time.

  • part of that point also is Just because someone doesn't know by heart which albums Randy took part in DOESN'T make the person a poser. It just means that person has not educated himself or herself with that information yet. It's a matter of OPINION that Randy Rhoads helped in this song better than Lommi. OPINION. some people like black sabbath better than the Ozzy days of No Rest for the Wicked and Ultimate Sin. BIG DOOOKIE. so the fuck what. waa waa waa kids..get off the net!

  • ok..one..what does it mean to call someone a POSER? poser basically = someone acting fake in someway and/or trying to copy something. You calling someone a poser " people that DOESN'T( it is DON'T people don't. plural noun needs the correct verb. we learned this by the 4th grade) even know which albums randy "take?" it's TOOK part in ..." doesn't make sense. You can LIKE an artist more than another. That doesn't make you a poser. I just proved you're a conversational idiot, Barbric. gj

  • Damn... I'd like to be able do although 1/10 of things that Randy was doing with his guitar.

  • que temazo randy nº 1 impresionante guuuuuuuuuuaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuu

  • What a wonderful solo =O

  • Huge Sabbath fan, but I have to say this version is the best.

  • tommy is awesome, because he made these riffs, but randy is much better because his solos are fucking awesome

  • @lucassilvadedeus give the "awesome" s a break. they're too overused. a thesarus will help expand your vocabulary.

  • Absolutley one the best solos ever, played with lots of feeling.

  • thanks toni iommi and geezer butler for writing a great song...but, THANK YOU RANDY RHOADS FOR PERFECTING IT!! RIP RANDY

  • I Love you Randy Rhoads :(

  • Tony Iommi owns Randy Rhoads.Fuck america!!

  • @XcoldazzzX I think Iommi is better too,he's much heavier,personally I think he's much better.

But Rhoads is good too,not as good as Iommi.

Cause the truth is: Randy is overrated by Posers just because he Died.

And Iommi is underrated, never won what he deserved.

  • @forumamt thank you.

  • Comment removed

  • @forumamt randy way better than iommi ur the poser trying not to be one

  • @Babric420 Wow,this shows that u don't know really what a poser is,whatever.

Accept the truth, randy is overrated by posers, people that doesn't even know which albums randy take part, lol,I've already saw many people sayin,Oh Randy is so AWESOME listen to Bark at the Moon,oh c'mon..

And Randy isn't better than Iommi, simply because Iommi created the heavy metal,is much more heavier and his riffs are better also. Not sayin' Randy is bad,for me he's the 2nd and I have a lot of influence from him

  • @forumamt Randy Rhoads overrated? You have testimonials from recording studio personel stating that he was the best they've ever seen. When over laying a track on, let's say 'Flying High Again', they said he's play the solo each time note for note. They say when he played, his notes on his solos were clean and precise. There are many great guitarists, don't get me wrong but Randy Rhoads playing was much more articulated than many others.

  • @rocketpropulsion I Do agree with you,as I said in ohter commentary, people are getting me grong.

I Never said i don't like Rhoads,I LOVE Rhoads too,for me he's the 2nd best metal guitarrist, for me the best is Iommi, but that's a fact that he is overrated by some dumb people that doesn't even know music or the historyheavy metal, like I said, some people say that he is the best in the world because he made Bark at the Moon. And Randy is a great influence to me,listen to my paranoid video you'll see.

  • @forumamt Overrated????Listen to that guitar scream...Fell the hair on your arms and neck raise .Look at that little guy with the guitar thats bigger than him..Look at that guys face as he pushes every note to the limit..and then a little more..Overrated????LOOK AGAIN

  • @fflopps Who said this is over rated !!? WTF lets git em string em up by the short n curlies if they have em

  • @DRAGONSHEADNORTH1177 LOL...while i share your opinion in a NON literal sense...try to chill good man.hehe

  • @chronofusion The teenager from the 80s in me came through there so I cannot be responsible for his actions , of course i am the most chill person in my mid life now , besides this is all just for fun ...by the way I have run into youngins who have asked "you mean there were other guitarists before zapp mild?" I almost lost my mind when I heard that !

    \m/ \m/

  • @XcoldazzzX i love both as much as each other. theyr both legends and have their own unique ways of playing. Iommi has the darker but amazing side to him whereas Randy had the speed and technality.

  • Wow, what an interesting spin on a great song. And if that solo doesn't grab you and twist your guts, and those fills dont snag you, you're dead.

  • My favorite song from the tribute album, Randy just blew everyone away with it.

  • Pure fucking brilliance. Randy's solo leaves me speechless. His phrasing, timing and touch are breath-taking. The movement he effortlessly displays in the 3:31-3:42 passage is almost frightening.

  • @67goldtops finally an accurate description ..kudos \m/ \m/

  • This Song Is the best besides Mr. Crowley cause the second i heard Randy I had to know who this guitarest was Randy Rhoads Is My FAVORITE guitarest ever he is the reason i play guitar

  • CUDOS FOR FINDING THIS GOOD OF QUALITY AND THIS EXACT VERSION..BY FAR THE BEST OF THE BEST for this song IMO. Long live TRUE metal.... Randy Rhoads, Jason Becker, Dime Bag Darrell, Ronnie James Dio, Chuck Schuldiner, fuck MOST of these poser * screemo* bands of today..THEY DONT have a damn clue!!

  • it can be that Randy is the best guitarist ever, or Ronnie the best singer ever but nothing compares to black sabbath original line up...

  • I love the harmonics and bends on this song ! And the solo is the best version ever

  • Best Version Randy Rhoads R.I.P

  • Anyone know if the whole Randy Roads tribute album is here on Youtube?? I still have the cassette I bought in the 80's, but it plays like shit now.

  • This is my favorite version ot this song.I got the cassette when it came out.

I get the chills every time i hear this. When i got the cd i put this song on repeat.

I am in the midst of reading Rudy's book & reading it slowly as Randy is still alive.Rudy has done an excellent job of bringing Randy's personallity to life.

It is emotional for me and i am not in a hurry to feel the pain experienced w his untimely death. I am inspired listen to his beautiful compositions all day...

  • MASTERPIECE!!!

  • I never thought the Tribute album was a tight as the King Biscuit Bootleg. I felt Ozzy picked Tribute performances where he sounded best rather than Randy. However, this song is I believe taken from the King Biscuit show and probably one of the best.

  • That is how you do a guitar solo. One of his best if not the best.

  • Gracias Randy.

  • Wow 2:35 is amazing! R.I.P Randy RHoads

  • Tony Iommi was one of the originators and one of my faves. But Randy Rhoads was a perpetual student, always learning and expanding his craft. Pure genius.

  • Ozzy Osbourne started it all and did it like nobody can!

And, Hell YES, Randy was the best in the world too!

It was two of the greatest on stage together!

  • Tony is Tony, but this is great too!

  • @FortisBong hey fuck you buddy. insult someone and then say R.I.P., who the fuck do you think you are? Randy AND Dimebag would be pissed off at you for that comment. So fuck off! However I do agree that Randy had more skill than Dime. Still they were both Gods of metal :P

  • the tribute album is my ALL TIME favorite live album, one of the best album ever too

  • God and Randy where as one on that solo .I have loved this song since i was a kid

  • making plans to attend Ozzfest in Chicago, i made it to three of the from 2004,5 and 2006. let me know if you have any suggestions on where to stay at during this concert, because i have no idea of where this Venue is located ect. thanks and keep on smoking those joints!

  • Wish that was Dimebag Darrell playing that solo instead :(

  • @cameltoe4565 I do too I used to see dime and randy on the same level but then I found out what made Randy different from just about EVERY metal guitarist he knows music theory and knows how to use it!

  • gotta love that solo!

  • the guitar solo is so fucking amazing

  • man , i can't believe that randy rhoads , fuck , it's one of the biggest tragedies on this world , fuck , rip randy rhoads , he had the look of a rocker , the tone , the talent and the character

  • This solo is one of my personal favorites of all time. RIP Randy...

  • @Voltaire4ever I very much agree with you on that one. Randy's children of the Grave solo is just fucking amazing.

  • @Voltaire4ever i agree!

  • @Voltaire4ever: Same here... every time I hear this, I think, "Tony who??"

    Blasphemy, I know...

  • I saw The Blizzard of Oz Tour in Grand Rapids MI on Aug. 30 1981.....Def Leppard on their High and Dry tour opened the show. It's in tghe top 2 best concerts I ever saw.

  • @pedraw i saw oz at the castle in 1982 summer of, just before randy passed. ozzy always loved the castle (farms that is) one of the better shows for sure. R.I.P. Randy....

  • It's good just no where near as heavy as it should be. But good

  • Prince of Darkness? More like Guardian of Peace and Love! Ozzy and Randy fucking rocked!

  • this version is so much better than sabbaths

  • omg randy rhodes fucking rocks the guitar

  • i fuckin love randys solo, it is seriously the best thing ive ever heard him play

  • love his live tone ... always on the verge of feeding back .... but controlled!!!!!

    Amazing!

  • this solo is hard as shit to play like all of randy's other solos

  • great solo great pic nuf said

  • good but sabbaths is definatly better (in my opinon) for one thing the drums, billy!! are way better especially in the studio verison (trippy as fuck get abked and listen to taht shit!!) plus sabbaths is just so much more raw and i think tonys solo alothough more simple is better again my opion though

  • Randy is awesome

  • In some strange way, all the songs that were written before Randy's time at Ozzy, are the best songs when Randy plays them. WIERD.

  • yea, when he played the his solo on "paranoid" i t was like.. WOW!!

  • yeah kind of cool. but this solo impaticular just blows my mind.

  • this is solo blows me away too like nuts im still tryin to figure itout lol

so fucking sad hes gone :(

  • That sounded awesome! basically him and eddie at that time in the early 80's. They are both the reason i play guitar and still have a major influence on alot of us still today.

  • randy forever..... the best guitar player of ozzy osbourne

  • Randy was amazing and i think he would have been the best if he didn't take that plane ride - i love him!

  • this live is the best ever from the lord of the lords,,, & the solo u can't define it, only u can feel it,,, i feel like i'm coming out from grave

  • I think the ultimate version would be Sabbath's drums and Rhoads on guitar. I love the rim shots on the sabbath version, and Randy on guitar just gives me the chills.

  • este cabron es unico el mejor no como esa basura del que trae ozzy ahora

  • rhandy rhoads all the way never forget it r.i.p

  • black sabbthe is good But evry song that he plays of black sabbthe he play a lot better and faster Randy is spacial and thats why i'm listen to him. Listen the solo than you no what i'm talking a bout R.I.P Randy

  • harmonic in 1:43 is very equal

  • that should be a reply

  • I know, when he was young he thought Black Sabbath was a joke, he used to make fun of it with his friends, but still, this is my favorite solo from him in the Tribute Album

  • Randy hated playing the Sabbath songs. Yet you listen to the solo and you would just picture him on his knees playing the hell out of the Les Paul.

  • or ozzy picking randy up

  • I love the randy version way better than the black sabbath version.

  • im with ya, that solo... is beautifiul

  • iommi is grate hes definatly the inventor of heavy matal riffs but randy is amazing

  • fuck u randy can redo any iommi song and turn in into garbage

  • Fuck you.

  • You're just mad becaue you can't play fucking Crazy Train. Seriously look on his profile. He fucked up the whole song! HAHAH!

  • i agree with you like 75% i think it sounds good but i like it better from sabbath

  • i know this solo. its amazingly beautiful. randy is the best. randy can redo any iomi song better.

  • no i think is paranoid version isnt that good but this song he kicks as

  • I have this album signed by ozzy :D

  • asume i wish i could see ozzy but he got banned from san antonio :(

  • idk y this dosent get more veiws its such a great song and they play it good live 2

  • Randy the best guitarist in the world...

  • put the whole tribute album in here.........AWESOME.....

  • The best version of the best song ever. Randy's the only person in the world who can do this song better than Tony. I just love the way this song starts, it's just a classic metal moment when Ozzy says "'Coz we're gonna do Children of the Grave!". The entire Tribute album is awesome, btw.

  • You want me to put the whole album in here?

  • yes

  • The Whole Album??

    Hell Yeah!!

  • Hahahaha. That'd be badass. I have and original copy of this album in cassette form. My friend's dad gave it to me. =)

  • il existe en video ce concert?

  • superbe! magnifique randy!

  • only the good die young

  • you wanna say that ozzy isn't good?

you wanna say that acdc isn't good?

    he was a great guitarist

  • Pretty sure he means the bad don't die young, not you have to die young to be good.

  • r.i.p randy ur awesome

  • christ i cannot firgure out this solo. no tabs to help either. i got liek the first little bit but thats all.

  • this is my favorite version of children of the grave. i think randy did this and paranoid better than iomi. randy's solo is way better than iomi's for this song. it gives me goosebumps everyime i listen to it.

  • This song still gives me chills...I was fortunate enough to see Randy Live in Jan 82 In St. Louis for my 13th B-Day present from my Bro...I was in awe then, just as I am now everytime I hear him play...RIP Randy thank you for all the music you brought into my life...

  • i am infinately jealous.

    urgh.

  • beautiful!

  • I guess this is just the magic of seperate opinions, then...
