The Old Lady’s TORTOISE (Hinduism) and DRAGON (Taoism) are symbols for WAVE (energy), both are analog with MAGEN DAVID (Judaism). "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" is the metaphor, and also similar with allegory of rituals Thawaf circling around the Ka'ba and Sa’i oscillating along “the sinus” Marwah-Shafa during the Hajj pilgrimage (Abraham). YIN-YANG: energy-particle . CROSS (Christian) and SWASTIKA (Buddhism) are symbols for “Balance of Nature.”
"Tides come in, tides go out, never a miscommunication, you can't explain that!"
And if we do explain it, he'll just say "explain how the Moon got here, secular pinheads!". They'll just keep pushing god into another gap in our knowledge, it's nothing new, McGraff is just a well verse version of Bill O'Rly.
truth can't be bottled, if you let it in it comes. an analogy's i love autumn, say i'm running around trying to bottle the crunchy spicy cinnamony fresh space making feeling it gives- so's i can eyeball 'essence of autumn' at any point; fair stupid, especially in the middle of autumn
@geeflyboy You seriously think that Hawking and Dawkins are in it for the money? Science is proof and humility and admits not knowing everything, while religion KNOWS where it all came from. The problem is, that religion gets weaker and weaker for by the day, because science learns more and more that contradicts religious scripture. WOW! who would have thought 2000 year old books weren't true?!
The way you write tells me nothing will ever get trough to you.
My bad, I simply googled "smartest man in the world" and a load of Chris Langan came up. My point was not that Chris Langan is smart and is therefore right, but simply stating that a genius believes something does not mean it is true, as Stephen Hawking and Chris Langan have conflicting beliefs. To say that either of them have silly beliefs would be arrogant. Very interesting guy Kim is by the way, although I did not find much information on him.

Something from NOTHING.... Science! Hail Science! LOL!
Hawking sees the big bucks Dawkins gets by bashing God.
Science does not prove or disprove God.
Atheism does not lead to science.
OK you are a fluke of the universe, Son of Apes.....
There is no soul and no love, we have no purpose or reason to live... blah blah.
Where did the cosmic seed for the big bang come from?
So M Theory is now GOD? LOL! Ha ha ha!
M Theory is not new; it's theoretical, unproven religion!

Keep believing in a lie.

You heard it from the smartest man in the world: no god is necessary for the universe to come into existence.
But we knew that already.

Actually the smartest man in the world is Chris Langan, a theist.
Google is a bitch lol

"Actually the smartest man in the world is Chris Langan, a theist."
Funnily enough, not only does he look a bit like Hitler, he even sounds a bit like him:
"we have to let only the fit breed…. Freedom is not necessarily a right."
Also, the smartest guy is Kim Ung-Yong, Chris Langan comes second.
Though I'd always lay in the disclaimer that being the "smartest man on the planet" doesn't immunise you from silly beliefs.
"Google is a bitch lol"
Yeah, lol!

@TurboDally Chris Langan isn't the smartest. Kim Ung-Yong is, with an IQ of 210. He is an atheist. Your argument = Invalid

McGrath may have studied scientific subjects; but it is obvious that he didn't learn anything.

"If god didn't make the universe is there still a place for god?"
Sure there is. Just like Santa doesn't make all those Christmas presents himself. God obviously has "elves".
