actually, im a huge vinyl fan. i hate it when people start using cds and pressing the triangle button, vinyl is a lot more challenging and "real". hawtin however doesnt use cds or crap like this. he just uses technology and software in order to save time to be more creative and innovative. and i think this is the only right way to follow technology and progress. its just a new interpretation of making music, and i think it also requires a lot of skill. i mean, just listen to 4:55. amazing.

Hawtin doesn't use vinyl or CDs at all anymore. His set up here at Love Parade is Traktor, a pair of Midi controllers... and a Xone 3d. he no longer beach matches so that lets him loop on the fly without coming out sounding like shit.
