whats your rpm at 80mph and whats your top end look like? ive got a 05 gt supercharged and i was in love with my 3.90 gears but you know how it is when you get used to it and you want more. at 80mph i do 2700rpm and i hit 130mph with ease but starts to struggle to accelerate past 140mph

@boosted05stang i have an 06 gt, couple things 3.90 to 4.10 you wont notice the difference i run at 2765rpm at 80 first gear is at 35, 2cd 60, 3rd 89, 4th 118, 5th should come to 170 ive buried the speedo and had it to 5250rpm(in 5th) around 150mph, mine pulls strong to the 130s and i have c&l street cai, bbk 62mm tb, frpp delete plates, jba lt-headers off road h pipe axle backs, 4.10 w/truetrac, 87 oct tune, steeda u-l springs koni shck/strt adj camber plates and pan hard bar, gt500 rims/tires

@Onewaymine and also for top end with 4.10 anything over 118 mph your in 5th gear your final ratio is 2.78 to one where as with a 3.31 rear diff you can do 146 in 4th gear giving you 3.31 to one at speed... 4.10 is great for coming out of the hole 3.31 for top end.... youd have to decide.. cruising or great top end 3.08-3.42, all around or from a roll 3.55 -3.73... at a drag strip 4.10-4.56.. i have the 4.10 im going to 3.73 and 6500 rpm red-line, thatll me give 42 in first and 140 in 4th ;)

@Onewaymine I have 3.73's on a moderately worked fox. 4th gear tops out at 127mph @ 5800rpm on my GPS. Mind you, I cant rev to 6500....

@KnightRiderChrissi the rear axle gear ratio. compared to stock, a higher ratio will turn your wheels slower at the same engine rpm in a given trans gear and youll accelerate faster.

@KnightRiderChrissi simple the the driveshaft turns 4.1 times to ever time your tire spins once which means your rpm's rev faster allowing you to enter you power-band quicker making more power from the start :)

what exhaust setup do you have,i like the sound. I have an 06 gt factory cats pypes x-pipe american thunder flowmasters. It sounded better with the h-pipe but not as good as yours.
