@gem4lyfe i'm not exactly sure what you're referring to when you say "online" do you mean safari? if so, it's not really meant for that. it's meant to be used on an iPhone to trick apps that use wi-fi like YouTube (for high quality videos) or the app store (for downloads of 10mb or bigger). It enable your iPhone into thinking it has a wi-fi connection but it's really using the cellular 3G connection. I hope I didn't confuse you :-/

@Yoontaesica winterboard wasn't working but then i found out after i just jailbroke it again recently that it was because i had the winterboard icon set for "hidden" in SBsettings. so it turns out that it was working the entire time lol

just search cydia for SMS Background and install it. On the download page it tells you how to set it up. I don't remember off the top of my head and I recently un-jailbroke my phone but I remember it being very easy, I'm sure you won't have any problems

i've seen vids comparing the two, they both have positives and negatives and seem pretty balanced to me but I recently re-stored my iphone (un-jailbroke it) so it doesn't really matter much to me anymore lol but thanks for commenting your opinion!

@mikeandikefly my cracked version works fine, it actually just got updated recently. You should go into cydia to check for an update (it will let you know automatically after it loads). If that doesn't work I would try a different source that has 3Gunrestrictor in it

Id be using mine but i ant re-jailbreak it since i updated to 3.1.2 =/ i used blackrain also but it doesnt unlock =/ any ideas? btw i have a windows not mac

aww man that sux, unfortunately theres no solution to jailbreaking 3.1.2 and unlocking but you might be able to downgrade to a firmware version lower than 3.1.2 and then jailbreak but i'm not sure if that would change the baseband (which is the key for unlocking)
