well the only good thing i see from the comments below from colombians, is our concern and shame to be associated with mafia; whereas in mexican videos the mexican comment bragging how excited they are to be shown in the news for killing. and they feel better for being more criminal. goes to show the abyss of difference between the two countries, and their level of education and class.
To those who are saying "clean up your coke-heads," how do you suppose a country/society do that effectively? Throw all the addicts in jail? Reform them all? No, you have to cut off the supply. To do that, governments from multiple countries would have to work together to squash the cartels, and let's face it, that's just not going to happen.
As long as the coca plant exists, there will be cocaine, people who profit from it, and people who use it. It's a sad reality on both sides of the fence.
@boldaslovexx83 why is it not legal at all?... if people want to use cocaine, who cares, why shouldn't they be able to do that? yeah, its bad for you blah blah blah, alcohol is legal too. The problems with the murders and violence around the cocaine trade are all caused by the fact that its not legal. Legalise and regulate it and all those problems are gone.
Of course it is sad to see those things happening in Colombia - but they are true and people know it! I´m European and have been to Bogota and Cartagena twice. It made me very depressed seeing all the misery around. The world has to help so that Colombia comes out of this long lasting war through negotiation between the victims and the powerful in the country!!!
ive been to Colombia many times but im still amazed that the press only cover the bad side of Colombia instead of so many fantastic things the country has to offer. My thoughts on the cocaine problem is ... take away demand then we eradicate the need to supply. Come on governments around the world clean up your coke-heads and give these good Colombian people the chance to live in peace. ( an Englishman in love with Colombia) saludos a todos alli
@ducato1963 Easier said than done. The problem with that strategy is here in Australia is that there are a lot of businessmen, lawyers, and other professional/wealthy people who use it. It can go from A$300 to $500 or more, and there is no shortage of customers. Highly unlikely that we will reduce demand at any point in time.
Lololo... It's funny to see how Americans are trying so hard to denigrate the Colombian population and the small towns of this beautiful country. Why don't you make a video of all your red necks consuming cocaine? you have to remember that 95% of the cocaine junkies are in U.S. and Europe so don't try to make a bad image of Colombia (we are not the only ones to blame). Thanks and I'm sorry about my English (it's not my first language).
@karloshaman His comment was about how Americans and Europeans have a bad impression of Colombia, this may be an Irish show, but Americans are guilty fo doing the same thing, HELLO!
@BDRioga old post--- but such documentaries are made in order to attempt to make people feel sorry for columbians, so that the border may be totally open for other reasons. this way, kind americans will open their doors and churches, etc., and want south americans there. when americans realize that columbians are really very rich, shopping all the time, etc., they get angry, b/c of the propaganda lies shown by s. america and american government (and Irish) the journalist is Irish.
@BDRioga I am American and have been to Colombia twice now, going my third time in January. My wife is Colombian and I don't believe in the stereotypes that are shown on youtube, Colombia is a beautiful country and have posted many videos on my youtube that show the good side of the country.
You just was lucky for borning in a country with less problems but remember
you still having problems, maybe not you, but the people around you that have nothing for eating, they have, and you should be worried for your brothers that
for judging us. Latins we are beautiful people, but we´ve developed a kind of hate
for you americans because you are always despising us like rats or less.
Fucking gringos don't even know how to spell Colombia so how can we even judge american stupidity if is as natural as colombian cocaine....you say nothing but drugs and spicks and that's exactly what you go there for asshole...

If weed were legalized and regulated consumption of hard Drugs will decrease. Weed grows everywhere so no need to export illegally! :D
