POST-artschool? More like high school. This is the kind of stuff I made when I was fooling around in my first AP studio art class. I am all for experimentation, but you need to end up with a high quality version for something as big as the biennial.Not seeing it here.

This video shows a very underwhelming Biennial. Are you kidding me? It is no wonder that the general public is so indifferent to contemporary art. These Biennials seem to get worse and worse.

Yeah you're kinda right, I think that the biennial is taking in a little too much experimentation and inexperienced art, only to seem innovative and new. They should include more refined pieces by more experienced artists.

@jymdavis Impressionism was despised by the public when those artists were working. Now they are household names. It will always be this way.

Dear Sir/Madame,after this terrible action commited by Guillermo Vargas Habacuc in the name of ART,I mean the slow conviction to death of the poor stray dog,would you do anything to defend real artists and protect the new generations from such cruel and inhumane examples?Today it is a poor animal,tomorrow could be a human if we are allowed?

fascinating stuff. it's so nice to see a profile of someone responsible for exhibition design. i've always thought those staff members who actually mount the shows are the unsung heroes at museums. it takes great skill to show off the artwork to its best advantage and there's so much to consider like site lines, the physical space of the galleries, etc. this really is feng shui in action! kudos to Mark Steigelman and the rest in his profession.
