Sorry, this isn't protein synthesis, it is RNA interference, where double stranded RNA is cleaved into short single stranded fragments by Dicer and then binds to the Argonaute protein complex which breaks down mRNA with a complementary sequence
I guess the context is not very well introduced in this vid. This vid seems like its about some side stuff that happens apart from the usual protein synthesis.
