  • Whats the name of the song?

  • Not sure where you "final performance, since I just went to their site not more than thirty minutes ago, and there are performances listed for the 2012 tour-HELLO! Whoever posted this video clip-not sure if you took momentary leave of your brain, or just don't bother to check things out BEFORE you post. MIGHT WANT TO PAY MORE ATTENTION BEFORE Yyou post. From the Riverdance website, if you'd bothered to go there, this is obviosly NOT their final performance-HELLO!!

  • @MSNTUC ha wow first take a chill pill. you are actually the one being dumb. this is the final performance on the vhs Riverdance. like "final performance" of THAT show. its from the 90's so obviously the person knows its not the final performance of alllll time. so maybe YOU need to pay more attention, not them...

  • guitar instrument = guitar hero

    step dance = ... lol they just can't :)

  • holy crap - I have new respect for these people

  • Hate flatley, hes a snob and a bigot.

  • im actually going to learn this again to be better i love how they do theres

  • No description needed it speaks for itself.

  • That was SICK!!

  • esto si es talento,,,¡¡¡¡¡que belleza

  • that was awesome thank you for posting it

  • how cool is it to be a drummer who can play awesome beats and come out of the dark on the spot light?!

  • What's the first music playing during the first dance??? :D

    It's amazing!

  • Jean Butler, gorgeous and talented. I have to admit to drooling over every one of those yummy Colleens. Makes me feel like taking up dancing myself....

  • is jean butler the girl who was skipping around in the soft shoes? (i know nothing about riverdance / irish dance)

i wouldn't say "Graceful." she looks far too skippy and playful, like a bunny! :P

  • just sublime il n'y a pas de mot le décrire

  • genial

  • My six month old son is loving this

  • I know how to do this dance!!!!! then again I know how to do pretty much all of the dances from Riverdance

  • Pfffffsh I could do that if I wanted to. lol Nah when I visited Ireland I stayed with a family and their kids were apart of a dance program. I went to one of their lessons and they had alot of fun making fun of the Yank trying to learn. It was fun and one hell of a workout. You will never see a heavy Riverdancer.

  • I remember the first time I saw Riverdance on television, many years ago in Kalamazoo.

Whenever Michael Flatley appeared on stage, Melanie and Elizabeth would shout, "Tasty boy!"

  • i like <3 u like? we like? they like? she likes? he likes? who knows :O

  • speed is way off

  • Irish music and dance is like Pecan Pie. At first it tastes delicious, then migrates to just being good. After the 3rd bite, it is sickening. Standard jigs with no melody. tap, tap, tippy tap.

There has been zero evolution in Irish music and dance since Oliver Cromwell. Maybe Cromwell invented this form of entertainment to stifle population growth.

  • @Mongo1940 Lonely is it up there? In the land of the tasteless?

  • Jean Butler has, without a doubt, the best looking legs I have ever seen. I saw this show in the second week of it's initial opening in Dublin at The Pointe Theatre in 1995. I have never seen anything like it since then. The audience was so intensely involved in the entire performance that no one wanted to leave when it was over and the applause was literally thunderous. I am so thankful to have been there and seen it in person. Talk about being in the right place at the right time!

  • Why don't they put the camera on a spring?

  • j'ai déjà vu 2 spectacles en France et je trouve toujours formidable se qu'ils font.

J'adore Riverdance et j'adore toute la musique celtique. Continuez !!!

  • This was amazing. Great performance. Ireland, whatever you do, don't stop exporting this.

  • Music that stirs the blood. A precision dancing troupe. A handsome man and a beautiful woman. What more could one ask of a stage performance? It's great! Thanks for posting!

  • wow

  • This kind of thing makes me proud to have Irish blood in me. I am going to visit the village on my ancestors soon in life.

  • oh jesus , this girl is vivien leigh ressurection , and this is the one more beautifull artistic dance artistic of human history

  • This is more than Irish history. Irish and African rhythms provided the base for the rhythms and beats that dominate almost all popular forms of music in Western cultures today. We are witnessing a tribute to one half of this, a tribute that doesn't just make you listen, but allows you to see the living music as it emanates from the performers.

  • maybe i had too much of it when i was a kid,.now i prefer imelda mays music or anything from the great american types liek simon and garf /creedence van morrison etc etc etc,.

  • Epic!

  • great perfomances

  • Titanica munca, dar frumos spectacol.Bravo voua si mult succes mai departe.Va iubesc si va urmaresc in spectacole cu mult drag.Admiratoarea voastra din Romania.Sa nu renuntati, sunteti frumosi si talentati.

  • I am left with my jaw dropped in awe at how so many dancers can be in perfect sync for this long. Dance is and will always be an extension of the love of music and nothing gets the toes tapping faster than the Celtic songs.

  • What you are witnessing is seven thousand years of Irish history, folks.

  • Holy cow batman, Flatley didn't look old here, he looks almost cute. But sorry Flatley I think I will join in the chorus about Jean Butler, she is awesome in this.

  • Jean Butler + ColinDunne

  • wowwwwwwwwwwww!! such discipline, timing and endurance.

  • how can anyone not like dis wow

  • jean i luv u 4 ever

  • I'll probably get flamed for this but, am I the only one who thinks that Nicole Kidman bears a strong resemblence to Miss Butler?

  • @pspiranha Exactly my thought...Let us get flamed together :)

  • i am irish never into the irish dance stuff,.we are not all liek that here,.,.

  • @suirvale Poor soul it must be horrible when one of peoples' first association with your country is a great musical tradition or LOTD. You have my deepest sympathy. I'd rather have that stereotype than "The sound of music" or suspicious questions about a certain guy who set out to destroy Europe...

  • @suirvale

No, we are all well aware of that. But it does not, or should not hurt to take pride in a magnificent performance like this one, performed by your fellow countrymen.

Whatever you like in music, stay Irish, that is the main thing!

    Take care.

  • They are so perfect, it's like doing copy-paste each person!

  • Amazing quality!!! Congrats for the uploader!!! And the show is unique!!! :)

  • she truly looks like she is flying... pure magic and a pleasure to watch... wow

  • Magic!!!

  • Jean Butler is the epitome of grace. I have never seen anybody dance the way she does. I think she has gone beyond passion and is totally in Rapture. She is amazing.

  • @whatthefuck5250 They all are amazing, such synchronization grace, skills... Just GREAT.

  • Don't know about Flatley or Dunne, was too busy watching the lovely Jean Butler.

  • Flatley u suck,haha.colin dunne muah

  • Does anyone know the name of this song?

  • Where was it?

  • Pretty amazing! waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw

  • 2 people are sooo unhappy....

  • klasse

  • this is how you barfight in ireland

  • this is awesome

  • they look like little leprechauns!

  • Jean Butler...just absolutely brilliant :)

  • At the end when the main girl is smiling, she looks like Rachael Mcadams!!

  • Pretty amazing! I Just have one question.. Are they supposed to look like their in pain or about to kill someone. They have such bland boring faces!

  • @S2Naughty456S2 Its called concentration, you try dancing like that properly with a continuous smile on your face...

  • =O 5:58, good god the 2ed male dancer you can see has lost a hand!

  • would be a bad time to have a loose shoe string........

  • Fantastyczne

  • agreed. and it's incredible how flately is just clearly loves every single moment of it, like it's just fun past-time.

  • that was ammmmmmaaaziiing!
