word has it, that the 5D mk III in development plans to have more flexibility on autofocusing while filming and will have short bursts of 240-fps capabilities! along with filming directly to your hard drive! along with lots of other minor improvements,....

clean looking even at ISO 12800? I am a 5d markII user and I've never seen any clean looking image produced from this cam at that iso -.- - he's obviously biased towards canon

Just a little biased. However I will say that the video won't be as bad as a still at the higher iso's. That being said.. It's still quite noisy when you get up there but it still looks amazing even at 1600 iso

Everything photography related, cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, etc. is VERY expensive. You can spend tens of thousands of dollars on lenses (The canon 1200mm super telephoto was $99,000). You can spend even more on camera bodies (IE. Hasselblad, mamiya, phase one. ranging $20,000 - $50,000). Lighting equipment... You can easily spend $10,000 on an AC power pack for 2 (Yes, 2) lights - that'd be the profoto air8 btw.

ive never even met a pro that shoots with a 1D series----every pro i know use xt-xti-40d-5d--------they should just call the eos-mk3 - top pro--and call the others mid level pro - entry level pro

Well it all depends on the photographer.. If you're talking to wedding photographers, chances are no... They won't be using a 1d. 1, its too heavy for the long hours, 2 is just not practical and you dont need it.

I know a few professional sports photographers and they use the 1d series.. Whether it's a 1ds mk2 or a mk3, whatever. But they need the faster fps for sports and whatnot.

So it all depends.
