Why would you care to turn off WiFi or anything else at night, who doesn't have there phone plugged in over night. Also he has his phone rooted which can make a huge difference in battery life depending on your Rom and kernel. My evo3d last 18hrs with normal use running mean Rom on it.

@ubigdumy You turn off your wifi and 3g (and should turn off your phone at least a few times a week) so the charge is complete and not negated by any of those.

TBH, this app doesn't really help at all... I've tried it, and I've wasted money on the Ultimate Juice, and it doesn't do crap for me. I get maybe 2-3 hours more batter life with the most extreme settings.

@gta4fan1013 Go to the Market and download an app called "BatteryBar". It's the one I use and it's pretty accurate. Also, if you type that in other ones will come up as well, just download and see which one you like.

I don't see the point of this unless you're gonna be away from a charger for days at a time. If your battery doesn't at least last for a few days... You have a crappy phone.

Or, if you're someone who is constantly checking your phone, then this will save barely any battery. It only saves battery when the screen's off. In that case, I'd root and buy SetCPU to underclock to about 200Mhz. All the other things this app can do can be found in system settings.

@smoshrules459 the idea of using Juice Defender is that it does all that shit automatically, you dont need to fuck about with going in and out of settings yourself. A phone being crappy if it doesnt last a few days, what if you cane the phone or its a fucking dual core processor phone and eats through the battery? I use this app along side Autokiller Memory Optimizer and it more than doubles my battery life. I am a heavy user and by the end of the night (around 12 a.m) I still have roughly 30% battery life. I strongly recommend this app.

This app is 110% useless for anyone who turns their phone's screen on and off on a regular basis. If you go an hour or two without turning the screen on this app will give you decent battery life gains. Expect under 5% if you turn the screen on more than once or twice evcery hour.

@lsdownz Uh, I have this app on my Droid X and I turn the screen on/off about 20 times every hour. Still doubled my battery life. Maybe you just need to get a better phone. Plus you don't need to get the $7 one. The beta or the $3 one work just as well.

@Rudigity 5 bucks to save you from buying a 30 dollar battery which, then, you have to pull the used battery out and then put in the back up battery. Then you have to fully charge one battery (that'll take like 5-6 hours), pull that one out, then charge the other battery up... which will take a little less depending on how much battery was used.

Do we all really have that much time instead of having an app that'll do the exact same thing with 1 battery?

I bought an extra battery and the external charger for less than $10 shipped on ebay. if there is a situation where i were heavily using the phone, this app isn't going to help anyways since you are bypassing these settings. If i know I am going to fly through the battery and I am out, I just take it with me and swap it, takes about 1 minute.  If you want better battery life go get a little free phone, don't handicap the phone's features

@OtakuManga dont worry about 3g not being there. varies depending on what ROM you're using. as long as it says data youre good. as for cpu, you have to be using a ROM that has an overclock kernel.

@WhoaCurtis ....i'm only seeing x1.63 WITH rooted/ overclocking...it maybe because i have the settings for my overclocking to decrease in usage down to 1100ghz-600ghz as the battery depletes in certain percentages...making it ALREADY battery sufficient. so you might not get past 2.0 if you have good cpu settings through rooted/overclocked programs, you probably won't see much increase in the app. more BUT, not much.
