i've had black forest cake in ireland and it didn't taste like the real one at all, the cake you get in germany is best!!

I don't know what they used in this video, but you could probably just use canned cherry pie filling. Its very good and you can get it at pretty much any grocery store.
As for how much... well thats all up to you and how many you like! After all, its your cake!
