  • You clearly don't know what an "accent" is if you think that you don't have one. Everyone has an accent. An accent is simply the way someone pronounces certain words. Even if you may not hear much of a difference between the way certain people pronounce those same words, they still have an accent. The accent, in that case, would just be the same (or very similar). You too, have an accent. I'm from Southern Saskatchewan and have a different accent than you do.

  • canadians do so have accents - why not?

  • I'm from Alberta. We all have accents depending on our regional influence. You may learn this someday when you grow up. Ask a Newfoundlander if you have an accent. See what happens, Manitoba. lol

  • I say paasta too :p but I don't sat begel aha I say baygel :) - Canadian from Ottawa

  • everybody has an accent!!! retards, who say that canadians dont have an accent! i'm canadian and have an accent when i say "about", "out", etc IT IS TRUE! WTF WHAT IS SO BAD THAT YOU HAVE AN ACCENT! GIVE ME A BREAK!

  • I'm from Toronto and you sound exactly like me. People are stupid when they say others have accents. We ALL have an accent, Western US sounds different than Eastern. It's inevitable. It's just depending on where you grow up. Also, people from Montreal don't sound like they have a Californian accent. That's just a joke.

  • wtf us paasta and beggel? Its PAHSTA and BEYGEL

  • Everyone has an accent. It's inescapable.

  • lol. I'm from Montreal and you defs have an accent. Beggel wtf?

I think anglo Montrealers do not have accents at all. I think it's because all we hear everyday is french around us so when we hear english it's mostly in TV shows, so we use the mainstream/californian accent.

  • I'm from winnipeg and you sound nothing like anybody i know so I'd say no.

  • I'm from Manitoba and have a strong Manitoba accent. When I'm concentrating or speaking in a formal context, I sound like her. When I'm with friends having some pints, I sound totally different. Where in Manitoba are you from? I'm from the north.

  • When you say words with "ou" in them you pronounce them differently than the American Broadcast Accent.

  • theres is no such thing as a canadian accent americans are just ignorant

  • Retard: how is it possible to say Canadians have no accent, how is that even possible? What is the definition of the word 'accent'. I guess we found the inventor of English.

  • I'm also from Manitoba, and I pronounce half of those words differently. Older naturalised Manitobans say it one way, and younger Manitobans say it another way. True story.

  • who gives a fuck, the way american talk in english is an accent.. remember, english originated in england.. not theirs so fuck em

  • @Devega33 im wit you

  • paaasta & begel.

    haha

  • paaasta?

  • Canadians do have accents. every province has it's own accent. Usually it's very subtle, but it's there.

You ever watch Corner Gas? you hear the way Brent talks? that's a rural Saskatchewan accent.

It's usually in the rural areas where the accents are the strongest.

  • We manitobans leave out a lot of vowels when we speak.

i mean we say vowels but theyre a heck of a lot shorter than say americans or irish people.

when u said "put" it sounded like "p't"
