this pedal is hilarious.seriously its like my new kitten, you start playing with it and it goes berserk and begs you to play with it more . oh and you nailed it.. pedals are toys,well, except for a tuner which is actually a tool,its not like i'll be buying another tuner, but i usually am a sucker for any delay pedal that suits me and is within my price range .

You're Dead-On about being better then a DD-3. I think this is one of my favorite demos GMD! You hit some LUSH delay melodies from 1:56 and on :)

BTW I'm an Analog D-Lay Guy all the way(DOD FX96 and Boss DM-3) and this little "Guy" is going to make me sell one!

I'm sorry man. I just hate when people try to ask a question because they don't want to swamp through endless amounts of search results, and they get a harsh comment in return. I did not think it was a noob question. DanEcho's can be noisy. But I see where you're coming from, it a clearer repeat than a tape sim. Problem solved. Re-20? I'd love to try one.

There was a reply to my first harsh comment, that a guy got a real tape delay, but as far as I think of a problem - it's impossible to have one in a board. It's big, It's heavy and too sensitive to movement. That's why RE-20 works for me. And btw its' better in emulating tape then DD-20, which now is out of board. I really like some delays PGS reviews.

I hink the delay is one of the most complex and difficult effect to choose. I'm currently using a Visual Sound and a Line6 Echo Park and I wonder If I'll choose a Rocktron Cyborg When I'll change my amp and control absolutely everything via MIDI ?

The Danelectro DanEcho has a weird noise in with the repeated sounds.....does this digital delay do that?

You got to be fuckin' kidding!!! DanEcho emulates tape echo! It's digital, but it's not a digital delay - clear and hollow. Dude - 5 minutes in Wiki and Yahoo and you wouldn't have to ask this stupid and noobish question!

If you use delay in your board you MUST know what are tape, analog and digital delays and how they work...

What a douche response. He didn't even show any ignorance on the topic. He asked if it had noise in the repeated signal. The DanEcho is a digital delay bro. I digital delay that emulates a tape delay. Analog/Digital/Tape all have to do with the build. DanEcho is digital. So stop being a troll.

Digital= Digital Delay. Whether it emulates a Tape Echo or not. The Ibanez DE-7 emulates an analog delay, but its still digital. Maybe you need to do a search. 4th result says its digital.

Second - i spent like 10 years searching for delays that suit me. I know shit about them. Now I have MXR Carbon copy for real analog delay and a RE20 for tape emulation.

Thing is that if you watch this video you see that this delay doesn't emulate tape echo - then why ask this question? It's like asking weather it can be used as a distortion.

What kind of middle pickup? Nice and quiet. I have the stock pickups on my American Standard and because of the 60Hz humm, I'm thinking about switching for something quieter while still conserving that Strat sound.
