  • Quite relaxing really. Just what I needed after a long work shift

  • how many pics are in that vid?

  • nice!

  • Truly the beauty of our nature :)

  • Enjoyed the time lapse video......I have one of these plants, but it's only bloomed twice.......it almost froze one year too close to an open door in the winter, and finally, this year it produced 3 huge flowers.......so beautiful......wanted to share this video with my sis, but am haven't learned the maneuvers yet.......thanks again.......M from Colorado.......

  • This is tchaikovsky's swan lake right? Beautiful piece.

    Fits well with the blooming.

  • so cool! i love this stuff :)

  • beautiful christmas cactus! Thanks for Sharing! Great Soundtrack too

  • Beautiful and horrifying! The forms of the plant are kinda argessive so it looks like some hell flowers.

  • it is a orchid cactus

  • looks more like a Christmas cactus. There no such thing as a mix between orchids and cacti. There two completely different genera, from what I know...Could be wrong but Orchid cacti doesn't make sense!

  • @MasterVeggie Epiphyllums are called Orchid Cactus because of the beautiful flowers. They are not crosses of cacti and orchids, nor are they a "Christmas Cactus", which are in the genus Rhipsalis or Rhipsalidopsis. (I'm not a scientist, just a nerdy hobbyist....) ;-)

  • it looks like sum type of fern without the flowers XD

  • awesome!

  • Thank you all. Much appreciated.

  • Gorgeous... very wonderful

  • thank you for sharing this. It's awsome!

  • very intresting i like it

  • Beautiful. Amazing.

  • Very beautiful Good work !

    Thanks

  • very cool, very professional!

  • Nice to see the cactys grow,...

  • Beautiful video and fusion of music. It really is hypnotic to observe the plant grow.

  • Thanks very much for your thoughtful comment and poetic description.

  • It's amazing to observe the movements of the plants as they grow to a full state. They have very rhythmic serpent gestures as they coil up. Makes you think about Kundalini Yoga and how DNA also has a double helix spiraling up. 2% of DNA is our genes 98% of our DNA is called "junk dna" and is still unexplored. Ayahuasca. "The Cosmic serpent" by Jeremy Narby

  • Would you tell me how did you grow these plants? My plants did not blowsom as your.

    Thanks for your advise.

  • All I know is that they like a partly sunny spot. Just had some good luck, I guess.

  • @CanKaraoke

some cactuses bloom right after a dry peirod so try to water very little for a period of 1-2 months and then give it much water to simulate a rain period and they will bloom :D

  • Gorgeous... I know I've heard te music before, but I can't remember the name, what is it?

  • It's Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake Ballet. Thanks for your great comment!

  • As usual, very nice. Shame you moved the camera so suddenly a couple of times.

  • You're right; I didn't like that either, but I had no idea the plant was going to bend like that :) Thanks for commenting.
