  • It has always fascinated me to know how many people from my generation aren't as big of fans as I am. I love the Beatles and have been listening since 1985. PS- They had more number one hits between 1963 and 1970 than any other group. EVER... at least 27 plus hits.

  • Fuelled by the raw talent and ground-breaking originality of the musical acts of that era, the record industry has ever since built itself up into a worldwide institutional empire which has an ever-decreasing need for real talent to amuse the "tastes" of an increasingly undiscriminating public.

  • They wrote their own songs, played their own instruments and were a real GROUP - each adding something in their own way. They were anti-establishment but not threatening. Years ago there was a great quote: "The Beatles want to hold your hand. The Stones want to burn your town".

  • In less than 3 years it will be 50 year anniversary of beatlemania. Goodness. I think it will be very special.

  • America may have invented rock n roll, but the British perfected it.

  • Since their arrival in the US on Feb.7,1964...NOTHING has ever been the same!!!

  • its funny in a way how america was affected by the beatles even though they only toured there not a lot of times, but is good though

  • "Its just a name really. like the shoes. We could have been called the Shoes." One of the funniest things ever

  • guy's if it Weren't for Buddy Holly there wouldn't be any of The Beatles.

  • Modern acts vs the Beatles illustrate the difference between temporary events vs a true epoch-making phenomena.

  • I wish I was that chick, snuggle between all of them lol. Why could I live at that time :(

  • Its goes to show that the Beatles were not only the best Rock band/Artist of all time, they are also part of history. Kinda like Beethoven and Mozart I might add :)

  • After seeing them as a kid on the Ed Sullivan Show on Feb.9,1964...NOTHING has EVER been the same!!!

  • beatles forever

  • Beatlemania never ended.

  • Love the guy at 2:10

    He's like "Wait for it...WHOO!!!"

The Beatles are the best there ever were, the best there ever will be!

  • im 18 and I love the beatles and all the music from that era. Wish I knew more kids my age who like this stuff. I can't even listen to jonas brothers, ga ga, beiber, anything even remotely like that. I gag when I hear the crap that they come out with today. Cant beat the beatles.

  • @landcaster11 I started listening to the Beatles when I was only four. I love them to this day. Plus I have several of their movies, music and posters. All I really need is them to play for me in my dreams.

  • Shoemania

  • dumb americans keep tryin to make them sound like they own the beatles

  • Man they where great

  • Just fantastic

  • Sure you do Dan, cos you had a job then!

  • "How does one get to meet a Beatle?" Today it would be "Yo I wanna get wit' you!"

  • @zasd26 Oh man.....she had nothing to do with the breakup....wow.....

  • @zasd26 Oh god you are so misinformed.

  • Why?? I said true, She fuck the greatest band; If you don´t know please don´t waste your time replying me.

  • @zasd26 Before you post a comment on an English language site, learn the language!! Having said that, you don't know what you're talking about regarding The Beatles and Yoko Ono!!!

  • @zasd26 Try making a proper sentance. Also try being in a band of 10 or so years and having completely different writing styles. Plus you have 2 band mates talking shit about the woman you love. If that wouldn't make you want to leave a band and that's all it was was a band then you obviously don't know what it would've been like. So therefor you should not have an opinion.

So don't waste everyone elses times.

  • @BirthOfFrankenstein However, that bitch fucked a bigger band!! If you dont like, sorry but its true. And stop waste my time. See you.

  • @zasd26 I will waste your time cause its not true so stop wasting your own time will ya? Plus who are you to judge anyway?

  • @BirthOfFrankenstein I don´t judge that ugly bitch, I just said the true.

  • @zasd26 Who are you to say whats true or not?

You weren't a beatle. You arn't yoko. Hell you probably weren't even alive when the beatles were around. Hell you probably weren't alive when harrison died.

  • @BirthOfFrankenstein And who are you to say if I say true or not? (the answer is the same). You don´t know me so....shut the fuck up dipshit!!!! I say again that ugly bitch fuck the greatest band.

  • @zasd26 Well seeing how i don't have poor grammar i think i can say it quite well. No i don't know you, but you know what you don't know the situation what so ever. Everyone has their own opinion. But they have said before if you watched the interviews of them she had nothing to do with it.

  • @BirthOfFrankenstein Hey are you fail in love with that ugly bitch?? Why you defend her?? She destroyed the bigger band!!! Maybe you don´t know the greatest Beatles... besides not surprise me from someone who believes in "Frankenstein".

  • @zasd26 Because i actually feel what the beatles were about. Love. If you don't feel love then you're just another heartless sap living your life as unhappy as you possibly can. I wouldn't know from experiance if she did it or not. I all can do is take the words from the beatles themselves that she was not the cause.

And whats to believe in? Its a classic horror film/novel. How would i believe in it? Its fiction. Oh and i wouldn't be surprised if you didn't know what fiction was.

  • @BirthOfFrankenstein Of course that I know what is "Frankenstein" you don´t understand the bloody sarcasm. And I only said the true about the ugly bitch.

  • @zasd26 Well you keep speaking the true and i'll speak the truth how does that sound? Awesome.

  • gotta love the beatles!

  • Nothing will EVER compare to The Beatles....something like this will never happen again!!!

  • @beatlejim64 Here Here!!

  • "How does one get to meet a Beatle?"

    "One says hello."

xD Oh George. You're just... aaah. The cutesttt!

Okay enough fangirling, I love this video. :'D

  • John

    SORRY GIRLS, HE'S MARRIED:

  • I always adored George Harrison. The Beatles were the greatest. So classic, they will stand the test of time.

  • @AudieAsquared

haven't they always? Stood the test of time I mean.

  • shoe haha

  • And Disney is making again Yellow Submarine! lol

  • .....

    /What?/

    o_____________o

  • Robert Zemeckis is making a 3D movie.

  • Really?!

    For real, no joking?

    Oh my god...

  • nice mullet lol

  • i dont thionk you know what a mullet is a mullet is long hair in the back only not long hair bangs in the front.

  • ¡ los mas grandes, los unicos, los genios, "LOS BEATLES". for ever.

  • 2:18 ELVİS is DEAD LONG LİVE THE BEATLES :D LEGEND

  • "It's just a name. Like Shoe."

"Yeah we could have been called The Shoes for all you know"

  • best quote ever!

  • when i get asked, "if you could go back in time what would you do," i say, "LSD with the beatles," iv never done drugs though

  • I'd like to be standing just off-stage in the wings during one of their theatre shows in England sometime in the fall of 1963. It must have been fantastic to see the spectacle of one of their live shows.

  • how does one get to meet the beatle?

    one says hello~ hahaha

  • @cherryquf Type in "Beatlemania (part3)". The woman who as a girl asked George this question gives her account of this conversation.

  • "we could have been called 'The Shoes' for all you know" XD

  • Wait, wait. John Lennon said himself that the name The Beatles was an homage to Buddy Holly's band, The Crickets. Hmm.

  • hahahaha wo could have been called the shoes for all u know

  • What did paul says in 3:37?

  • we will give it a whirl

  • What the meaning of Paul sayings in 3:37 ?

  • we are gonna give it a whirl and not try in bid The Beatles we know we cant

  • yeah but english is not my first language so i didn't understand, can you pelase explain me ? thanks :(

  • ohhhh ok..... thats wat he said every thing i typed lol

  • I saw Sean Lennon behind Yoko. Beatles were "Bigger than Jesus" as they said once. unfortunately, my mom was still a baby when the Beatles performed in the 60s

  • JOHN

    Sorry girls, hes married.

    (LOLLLL)

  • "We could have been called The Shoes for all you know"

  • witty as ever.

  • Even though I came after 1964, I grew up listening to their recordings. My dad had all their albums. I continue to listen to them today. No other group has beaten their presence in pop culture. Can Linkin Park, NYSNC, or Britney Spears compare? You decide.

  • yea lol

  • lol we could have been called the shoes" the beatles are so awsome

  • this gives me goosebumps viewing the reaction from the screaming fans...totally beyond words to describe the feeling I get when I see that!

  • Yoko looks stunning in that dress at 3:40.

  • There's a couple of dodgy looking wigs on a coupe of fellar's there

  • 2:20 is so fucked up and the beatles grew up listening to him too

  • Wow.. the girl at 38 seconds is a knock out!

  • --the beatles is just a name, like shoe.... yeah we could have been called "the shoes"-- hahahhaha john and paul are the best

  • i cant understand how people today can dare to say that the jonas brothers come close to the beatles. Lady Ga Ga said that they have the same fan base as the beatles.. UMM.. I DONT THINK SO. its purely impossible.. only teenaged girls of this generation like them.. the beatles had pretty much EVERY generation in both genders, come onn!!!!

  • Time will tell... let it be...time will tell!!!

  • yeah and jonas brothers didnt have meaning

  • @LoveTheBeatlesSoMuch I agree, but I'll go further because The Jonas Brothers and (puke) Lady Gaga are not musicians, nor do they have musical talent and nor should they have EVER been signed to a contract.......People that want to make such idiotic comparisons also think Rap Crap should be recognized!!!

  • @LoveTheBeatlesSoMuch I was just listening to them and u know what i realized i was like you know at least the beatles weren't just singing bout getting girls they were singing bout being in a relationship with them they talked bout stuff like Penny lane and songs like help and songs like I am the walrus and stuff that we can relate to like the song yesterday and that's something i didn't see bout the Jonas brothers they just sang bout the same shit and it was retarded

  • @westeastxybzd: I agree with everything except the part about "I Am the Walrus" having meaningful lyrics. That's like their most nonsensical song! John Lennon even admitted the first two lines came to him in an acid trip. He wrote the song after he heard a teacher was having his students analyze Beatles lyrics. He wrote "I Am the Walrus" as if saying, "Analyze THIS, you bitches!"

  • @LoveTheBeatlesSoMuch The three BIGGEST musical icons of the Twentieth Century include: Frank Sinatra (awesome vocalist) Elvis Presley (awesome rock n roller) and the Beatles (no rock n roll group can beat 'em). I love the Beatles and have been since 1985! And I'm 29!!

  • @LoveTheBeatlesSoMuch I agree with you a lot. In fact, in my town Kevin Jonas appeared in a Red Mango, some yogurt shop, and the most he got was a couple pictures taken with some girls. If this were the 60's and say one of The Beatles went to a place like that there would be complete chaos, both between guys and girls. No one will ever compare, especially not The Jonas Brothers..

  • the beatles would shove their instruments up the jonas brothers ass and still play better at the same time the jonas brothers were gleefully taking the instrument up their ass

  • B.E.A.T.L.E.S. = "British Entertainers Amazing Tunes Left Everyone Singing"

  • Classic video - glad it was posted!

  • im from liverpool- who wants a kiss ?

  • "What's with the name Beatles? What does it mean?"

    "Well it's just a name - it's like... Shoes."

"We could've been called the Shoes."

I fucking love John and Paul.

Although, George was always my favourite. I always loved his songs over the others - things like Here Comes the Sun, Gently Weeps etc :3

  • Great video, thanks so much for posting

  • GREATEST band of all time!!!

  • 2:11

lol I really don't know why that amuses me so much.

  • che mbopirimba cuando empieza all my loving

  • The Beatles had 7 of the top 10 songs at the same time. Jonas Brothers suck ass!

  • jonas brothers can go fuckthemselves if they think they can try and act like the beatles which is what their trying to do because i saw on tv it said jonasmania that is fucked why would they put mania at the end. only beatles deserve it. BEATLEMANIA! beatles FOREVER

  • @sqwuade love it love it love it,

  • the only difference, the beatles were decent.

  • Oh, thank you, so much, for uploading this. It really is marvelous how much they've changed music history in only thirty years, when the video was aired. Imagine what could happen in the next thirty. Very chilling to realize it doesn't take much to change a lot. Love The Beatles, forever. Wonderful, wonderful boys.

  • they shoulda been called the shoes lol paul's hilarious

  • my favorite band is the shoes

the beatles are not even close to being as good as the shoes

that woman is SO lucky to have pictures with her and the beatles, i cant beleive it!!!!

    RIP George and John

    Beatles forever! :D

  • we could have been called the shoes for all you know. i love paul.

last little clip at the end really got me.

  • "Magical history tour," lol.

  • im g;ad im not the only one who caught that

  • Very moving. Very well done. Nothing like it again in my lifetime. I was 13 that year. And this is where we first moved on after JFK. Little did we know what lay ahead, but what a time to be 13. We Boomers were lucky to be born when we were. Thanks, Beatles. A lot.

  • John Lennon turned out to be right when he said, after being asked about the secret to their success: "if I knew that, we'd all form groups and become managers". There is no way to put thr once in a lifetime experience of Beatlemania into words so that someone who wasn't there can feel it or understand it.

  • what a time that was

  • I love this. The john part was funny, the whole thing was very interesting.

  • Yes, this was indeed an interesting clip to watch. Thanks for posting it.

  • Thanks for the post! (I'm surprised this doesn't have more views.)

  • This is, indeed, from Friday, February 4, 1994.

  • Thanks for the confirmation.

  • You're welcome.
