I actually like how this is played. It sounds great at a higher speed. The only problem, as everyone else seems to have already stated, is the dynamic part of the song. It's mostly all the same volume, in other words.
I agree with you, crimson - performing a piece is more than just playing the notes. The ability is certainly there, but his rendition is lacking the sensitive touch. He doesn't appear to understand the nature of the piece.
Not all people learn at the same speed or have the same skills. It's sad that someone that learnt a piece that fast does not have enough neurons left for being considerate.
theres a difference between playing it and learning it and being able to play it well.
also the power tab i just read look fairly simplified. i learnt sunburst by a power tab, then relearnt it properly with the proper sheet music. it was more complex, as you would expect.

I believe hes playing with emotion, it just needs to be slowed down a bit. Otherwise, an outstanding rendition.

I love this song! BUT...
I must say there is not much love in this interpretation.
I´m missing feeling and clearer voicing - play more with the volume ;-)
Listen to the record of Andrew himself - no need to speed.
