  • Lol paiges look on his face is fucking priceless great jam they played this perfectly.

  • From 2:25-2:30 Trey was looking at ME! I am tall and had my rock horns high in the air. I was in about the tenth row and noone else had their hands in the air at the time. I felt like he was playing to and for ME! Been to many shows and this was my coolest experience by far. Thanks for the post and I hope to see you all out there real soon!

  • mmmmm love this video quality!

  • I look back at these videos and thank the gods for YOUTUBE (and Phish!), because it's the only place to relive this unbelievable concert, which I have even worn out on the 14 disc set I burned when Napster and Morpheus were around and I could find the songs. i never ever saw the Northern lights, but i sure smoked 'em!

  • what do you call a hippie that moves to an island? A: A Rasta.

  • the video quality is so good

  • The enchanted Forrest, the ferris wheel, hot air balloon and the town the built. So much fun.

  • I was there. What a great time!

  • wookies, jedis, trampolines, vacuums, glow sticks, flinstones dresses, light shows..

    all about the music right??

    LOL

bunch of dumb ass "phags" phans

    hahahah

  • @jkweddingentrancesux get the hell off here you troll

  • @jkweddingentrancesux go climb back in the hole you came out of you ignorant waste of a life! REALLY? You took the time to go to a band on YouTube (that you don't like) and pick a song, then make stupid ass remarks like you made?! Grow the fuck up you negative vibe.

  • I too was at this show. Four days of eternal bliss.... Lots of doses and more fun than any other show ever.

  • @fire4525 I agree! So much fun. Something I'll never forget. Truly THE best experience of my life.

  • great song

  • I've done a cover of "Swept Away".......comments would be awesome.Ty <3.

  • Phish rocks, sober or not...SOOO Musically talented!! miss them acually.

  • Phish is such an amazing band.

And they're still good when you're sober.

  • I was at this show..they had a little town built in this cyprus reserve..maaaan..1st night i got there which at about 11..sat on aligator alley for 12 hours..soon as we got there started trippin our asses off!!! the only thing bad about this weekend was the water situation..what a great itme this show was!!!

  • Pure unwashed anus,

  • @NomadRepublic poo on u

  • @aztreehugger yes

  • I can't stand phish fans from Vermont that act like they are special and some how responsible for phish being so successful. The Gorge this summer was my first phish show and everyone was so cool except for the Vermont phans that felt they had to constantly remind everyone they're from Vermont and that makes them better than everyone else..... Come on guys, grow a brain.

  • @angrymcguire

I roadied this show-my only phish gig-and i can't agree more with your assessment of the Vermont phans. Four of our crew were from Vermont, After admitting that none of them had ever built a stage or sound/light platforms, nor rigged lights, as they had all worked only indoor venues before, and, despite knowing that several of us had been doing it for years, they still tried to boss everyone around like they knew what to do and we didn't.

  • phish on point once again!!!

  • "No woman no cry, no woman no cry..."

  • @Crazelord91... sounds a lot like it

  • @Crazelord91 do you come from a land down under?

  • @Crazelord91 "Is your name jonas?" "I'm more than a bird" "Where are you going? Midnite Cruiser" "Dance ah med oss, klappa ira hem meh" " Let it be" "Fury of the storm" "Sometimes I feel like i don't have a partner..." "With or without you..." "I want to be...forever young" "If I saw you in heaven" "What's my age again?" "I'm yours" You get the idea. if not, then take on me. Don't stop believing in music.
  • Thank you for going back on tour

  • i ate like 30 hits of all sorts of L and rocked 1/2 gram rails of K before this set. I was, layin down bent

  • @souljahNbabylon Congratulations, you wookie.

  • @dmbvincent55 Wookie is no longer a bad word. Ever see the Star Wars movies? Wookies are the good guys.

  • @ezekieloak This wook ate 30 hits of acid, apparently. Speaking from experience, the acid was either really shitty, or souljahNbabylon is a brain damaged space cadet. Perhaps both.

  • Stick to buds my friend. you can fuck yourself up doing that other shit.

    LEGALIZE MARIJUANA

  • @souljahNbabylon get it bro!!

  • It was a fuckin circus hella good time

  • So upset I missed the biggest Phish Phenomenon right in my own backyard. But I've got my fingers crossed for a 10 year reunion return at Big Cypress for NYE 2009.

  • Takes me back-I was there-row 13-they played from midnight until 7 or 8--no break-it was insane-80,000 people in the middle of the everglades-no cops-just hired security-doses were everywhere!

  • lol , it was standing room only

  • The sound has a funny quality that doesn't match the context (i.e., a concert for 80,000 people). It sounds like they are playing in a room by themselves.

  • do you really think anyone of the fans cared dude... phish play for hours on end it was insane everyone was blazed and having a great time

  • Best band beside the dead who ever hate phish is pretty darn crazy

  • i think EXACTLY like you, those two are my top 2, you should check out bob weir and ratdog, and Tea Leaf Green.

  • yeah not fish im from liverpool try the beatles ahaha XD ur so funny

  • Hope phish has new album. I'm from burlington, colchester actually no less, so what's up now all yalls. what band is from your hometown? oh ok that's right, not phish

  • danny gokey

  • steely dan

  • James Brown.

  • the grateful dead

  • Umphrey's McGee

  • @tristramshandy3 not really. You need to open your ears dude, listen to more Phish. I don't know where you got your analogy

  • @aztreehugger that comment was in reference to Umphrey's Mgee, not Phish. Phish is certainly influenced by Zappa, but they have their own flavor. I went and saw Umphrey's recently- and dude, they sounded WAY too much like Zappa for my taste.

Have you read the essays of Montaigne yet?

It is the greatest book ever written.

  • tay zonday

  • Widespread Panic. R.E.M. B-52's

  • big cypress was the peak....best weekend ever....period

  • were you there?

  • so chillllllllll

  • Always loved this song...this takes me back!

  • trey moves his head back and forth and makes funny expresions on his face.

    +5

  • Comments like that what gives the scene a bad rap! I don't care if I couldn't drink at a show I would be there! glad you had your K and shit!!

  • A lot of songs share the same chords as No Woman No Cry (Let it Be by the Beatles is the same)

  • The melody is different, but the chord structure is similar. I don't think they did it on purpose.

  • best song

  • YEP ! Besides Dirt !

  • Farmhouse is an awesome album, but I don't think it's quite as good as some of their earlier stuff. Just my opinion.

  • sounds good

  • The melody of this song is the same as No Woman No Cry by Bob Marley & the Wailers. Is that on purpose?

  • its the scalpers man!

  • wanted to go to Hampton but all the rich kids took my tickets...and it sucks

  • Rich kids in Hampton, VA..Now DATS funny!

  • bunch of trustees..... 178 shows n march comin... yall have no clue

  • i admire Trey cause he both sings and plays really well.

  • this song introduced me to phish as a teenager so while it's not their best song i'll always value it highly.

  • your silly that this is the worst phish song- look up jennifer dances- thats definatly the worst one

  • Contact? How about everything post 1998?

  • If you dont like this song then why did you search for it here. It's 2008!!! Go start trouble somewhere else.

  • Because I like this song and I was at this show.

  • Why were you here if everything was so bad after 98?? Big Cypress wasn't good????

  • It was good. I mostly was referring to the music that they released on album after story of the ghost and in their solo projects. And also songs like Contact suck. If you ever heard the song I think is called "Bike"...that definitely sucked.

  • Bike is a Syd Barrett/pink floyd song from the 60's. I dont thing you know what your talking about. You probably don't even know who Barrett is. Phish isn't known for what songs they choose to put in a cd case. They have so many other songs that are so good. Maybe you should go figure out what songs are covers and what songs arn't.

  • Gee I wonder why that song never got popular. Just heard floyd's version, and it's not as bad as fishman's but it's still one of the dumbest songs I've ever heard. Not to mention, when I heard fishman do it he followed it with a Henrietta solo which I also think is a joke.

  • post 1998 your complaining about? So are you telling me you wont see them when they come back to Hampton,VA in march of 09? seriously... I saw mike, trey, and Fishman all at rothbury and they all played sick shows... idk what your talking about.

  • Pretty sure that is what Im sayin.

  • couldn't have said it better myself sir! ! ! ROTHBURY rocked my fucking socks offfffff. Can't wait until Hampton

  • i hope i get tickets :( lost the lottery :(

  • phish is awsome

  • what do you think their best song is

  • you cant pick one song man.thats against the whole point of phish

  • this is their worst song. I'm not saying that its terrible but its their worst. They have so many other great ones.

  • It's not terrible, but I would agree that it is probably the most pop sounding...

  • trey is so funny looking when he gets into playing

  • phish played at rothbury but one of them was missing i hope phish gets back together

  • it's still good. how can you dis this song?

  • just because it achieved mainstream success doesn't mean its a bad song, at the very least its introduced a lot of MTV kids to the glory of Phish

  • i really hope thats a joke...

  • Such a good group, they can play music for hours or days at a time. I play music with other students (I am a student) and most of the time things don't click and can't keep time. But with this band the time, rhythm, key signature, it all flows to make music. Hope they get back together and make more music.

  • i like this song.. but what the hell are they talking about???

  • tHERe recording studio... duh

  • 3:47 is possibly the prettiest piece of music I have ever heard.

  • welcome this IS a farmhouse

  • In the farmhouse things will be allright...

  • I love it when Trey gets in the zone... his face is hilarious

  • phish !!! <3333

  • don't you mean phaggot

  • Dude, I'm fourteen, and I love this band. We saw them once when they broke up, but I was pretty young, and I can't wait until they get back together (yes, they will!).

  • @JerrytheJar you seen them since man? I'm glad you were right, I was unsure for awhile there

  • phish is sick

  • saw them over 70 times and these vids are still realy hard to look at, but i still look at them, and they will get back together, even the dead took a break in the middle of there career, they will be back, it maybe a few more years, but they will be back!!!!!!

  • yes they will, they will play these songs

  • I hope phish realizes how dull the world is without them touring....who knows maybe we get a miracle and they tour this summer....and seriously...dave matthews band sucks.

  • You think DMB sucks? I think they do a pretty good set. Different strokes for different folks I guess. I will say the scene is totally fucked at DMB shows though. The only good thing about it is I get to hook up with cute girls at DMB shows. The band is obviously really talented though, come on now. Not phish, but better than most of the garbage people are calling music these days. Cheers from Burlington,VT!!!

  • Well DMB is pretty good but community wise they're mostly made up of teenage girls...I saw DMB at deer creek in august and it was still definatly fun....Cheers from Indianapolis Indiana...do you happen to be trey?

  • I'll never forget this moment. I have the chillz!!!! One of the best times of my life, and my Phish career....CCOME BACK, BOYS!!!!!!

  • COME BACK PHISH! WE NEED YOU!!!!!

  • i hope so

im only 15 i never got to see them in concert :(

  • Same here man, im 17 though. It sucks Does'nt it?

  • They shall return

  • This is not pro shot BTW. Someone just filmed the big screen next to the stage.

  • I use to listen to zeppelin, floyd, hendrix and CCR but then I discovered phish while smoking some ganja with some friends and ive been addicted to them ever scince.

  • shut up hippi, just kidding me too.

  • shut up and learn

  • I have a nutsack anyone can swing on if they don't like this band by the end if they don't enjoy great music atleast they can be gay.(as in happy)

  • that's pretty funny buttpirate.

  • 1:45 - 1:51

  • do you just say random times so ppl wil get excited and wait for that part in the video adn then its nothing

  • No, if you were listening, you would've heard some of the most powerful lyrics in the song

  • Fishman pwns you.

  • hell of a song

  • This was the greatest few days of my life. I remember walking from the Amy's Farm campground to the show and you could just feel the excitement in the air. Something I'll never forget.

  • no, he looks like chuck norris

  • lol my mom just saw me watchin this and pointed out that trey looks kinda like eric clapton =P i never even noticed tht

  • ive never seen any of them, and thats the first thing i noticed. its kinda uncanny.

  • This is for Becky, cause it's random, and there is no video for Random, amazing, simply amazing...

  • i love this song!

  • i heard them play at deer creek, after the concert there were like 3000 hippies and they were in the way of my vehicle, so i honked at them, then i realized i just honked at a bunch of hippies, i was so disgraced

  • hahaha thats great

  • best week of my life ....

thank you phish for the great memories

  • yes...best week of my life!! check out our latest jammin live original studio recording "half of me" on my vlog...or my drum solo...its almost as good as fishman ;)

  • It's such a bummer that they broke apart and stopped playing

  • i love this song we sung it at my favoritite camp ever plantation farm camp i love u

  • there is something deeper to phish

  • i say 11

  • on a scale of 1-10 how high do u think our little farmie is? oh the 90's i love u phish!

  • this song is cooly. it reminds me of someone i really care about.

  • i think that in way every one of you is right.

  • Hey thetruthprevails chill out and if your going to be all bad learn how to write, its SUCH not SUCK. So the truth is prevailed, you can't wright!

  • Plagiarism is every were butt who really cares, so what is some chords sound the same. It will happen just enjoy. AND EVERYTHING WILL BE ALL-RIGHT!!!

  • what an idiot

  • wow. you are such an idiot.

  • he bitch how does this make me an idiot? im just stating that these 2 songs have the same chord progression you shouldnt say anything if its not useful bitch. wow you are suck an idiot. ur a studip little fag

  • does anyone else notice that this progression is totally ripped off of bob marley's no woman no cry, trey even says everything will be alright!

  • you are an idiot.

  • ok there were classical muscians hundreds of years ago who used a I-V-vi-IV chord progression...bob marley did not come up with that...i assure you.

  • and of let it be by the beatles.. but they make it their own

  • sucks that they had to quit, there will never be another phish.

  • pffff Secret Smile is the best song ever written, none of you n00bs know shitte

  • And what of Divided Sky, Sanity, PYITE, and others? Are they garbage to you? It seems in the "wheres the noob" game, I have found him. Dude, even Pork Tornado pwns you.

  • phish was so much better before hard drugs

  • great song, so well put together. Easily my favorite phish song. love the guitar

  • Marked the beginning of the end of phish? No, that would be all the fans would could not deal with progres, change.

  • Er, or Trey's building drug addiction. Either/or.

  • Couldn't deal with change? Please, look at the evolution from mid 90's to late 90's. Europe tour 98 comes to mind, spacey jams, different direction, etc. Change was dealt with, but as blevine77 suggests, maybe there was something more. Songs don't mark the "beginning of the end", the fans were there and will still be there, some following, imo, blindly. Undermind was a musically accessible album, not only to fans but to others. Dude, Phish was change. The fans dealt with it.
