@MrGinger3568 I think the point of the "know your limit, dress within it" is to make sure it looks good on you. If you're a heavy person, then tight clothing isn't exactly going to flatter you. It's the same with things like skin tone. Certain shades of colors won't look right, so get the shade that looks the best on you.

@nextjetset oh i dont limit myself at all. except for the super skinny characters. ever since i lost alot of weight and got in shape it opens up more for me to cosplay as. if others want to look horrible in thier costumes oh well. i think it just makes the person look ridiculous and ruins cosplay for me. thats why i say you should dress to your body type. it doesnt have to be dead on but no one wants to see a 500 lb girl dressed as riku from FF. thats disturbing
@nextjetset Honestly, people shouldn't limit themselves like that. Cosplay isn't about perfection or becoming the actual character. That's just silly. Cosplay is a creative outlet that people can use to show their love for favorite characters. While it IS true that certain body-types don't belong in certain outfits, you should not let that limit you. Just have fun. If you take a hobby too seriously, then it's not a hobby. It's a pain in the ass.
@MadQueenAlice i can understand that but when others dress however they want. specially when they shouldnt be searing somethin like that it ruins the hobby for others. i mean would you want to dress up as cammy from street fighter if every other cosplayer that dressed like her was some creppy dude or insanely fat female? its no longer about the character, its about how its no longer fun when you see something that upsets your gut.

When I pick characters to cosplay, I don't think, "Oh, I can't do THIS costume because so many unattractive people have done it before." In fact, if I like a character that I haven't seen pulled off very well, it motivates me to work a little harder on my costume.

@MoexSho First song is "Give a Reason" Slayers Next opening. Followed by "Breeze" and "Don't Be Discouraged" opening & ending from Slayers try. Haven't seen either one. =( I should be shot for that. LOL Any-who, all of the songs in both parts are sung by, Megumi Hayashiba. ^_^ I'm a huge fan of hers. =)

for the most part, pretty good cosplays (except, i couldnt tell from what animes most of them were, because i have never seen them)
most of the skippier cosplays were also good, but for some of them, i would have skipped that person's cosplay
