Yes you are right it looks like a leopard 2 tank. I am impressed by the features of the type 90. Its said to be a really good MBT. Its strange the analysis because it hasnt seen combat unlike the Challenger 2 which I think is the most underatted MBT. According to analysts the Leopard2 is the best MBT

I wasn't under that impression; as far as I'm aware, Japan's constitution allows for various military branches to exist domestically so long as their purpose is self defense. American units remaining in Japan are supplementary in nature, though international cooperation is necessary to keep the region secure. The pacifist constitution only requires that Japan not intervene unnecessarily, or have a standing military designed for offense. Or, that's my understanding at least.

It is a very nice helicopter from a manufaturer that where I am from company that I would have thought could only manufacture motorcycles and etc but from what Ive seen they are very good at creating aircreft and many other things! I have not seen anything from the JGSDF that show any close up fighting with infantry units or fromt line combat from an infantryman's point of veiw only ranged fire power and heli's which is all good but also owned by other country's...
