  • Thatcher destroyed Britain and sold it off to foreign investors. She also put all our eggs and gambled on the `city state of London`, and unleashed personal greed on the greedy brainwashed people of the UK. We now see the full extent of the damage. How can anyone justify the public ownership of the banks and still keep espousing the lie that capitalism still rules the day. The poor are living in a capitalist system while the rich capitalists survive by using socialist methods. Surfdom is here.

  • Comment removed

  • @sugarraygras "Surfdom" sounds like a nice idea - the reign of surfing?

Thatcher or no Thatcher, Britain couldn't reverse time and freeze the world at the point they ruled most of the the world; and America can't do that now.

Capitalism has always had something of a 'serf' or 'working' class. It's just that the WASP hasn't had a turn for hundreds of years. The grandchildren of today's WASPS may have to work in a sweatshop to make clothes for rich Chinese elites.

  • @shinytooth23 Agreed. But if you cant see that this seems to be a daylight robbery of our nations assets by international money cartels utilising 'socialist' public ownership methods then you need to wake up. Thatcher sold all our nations assets to the private sector using borrowed money from the private banks, pushed up all prices in the processes. The end result being that the public fund the buyout of the private banks debts. The people pay twice, and have been sold down river! IMF rule.

  • @sugarraygras The Bank of England has had the powers needed to manipulate currency since 1694. For most of the period since then the standard of living of the average Englishman has increased dramatically. What you are experiencing now is a movement of capital from the unproductive economy you are involved in, into productive capital bases, largely in Asia, and especially in China. The UK is full of people who expect too much for what they are able to produce.

  • @shinytooth23 I understand your point. But my original point still holds. Thatcher sold this country off. Is it the choice of the British 'suject' to produce nothing but services. It is the fault of those that lead. Did the French and Germans sell off their industries to foreign investement? As for the bank historically manipulating money, I agree, however I hope you understand that what is happening now is Not business as usual. Its an unprecedented corporate global takeover of the many by few

  • @shinytooth23 Lets not try and pretend that what is happening now is business as normal, we are seeing a corporate take over of the world for the few against the interests of the many. Our country got sold off in the 80s yours was sold off during the same era. Whats happening now is the result of personal greed and population manipulation through the right wing media. We are dancing into the flames. The uk is full of brainwashed 'pop idol' morons. But the hunger in their stomachs will wake them.

  • @sugarraygras For now the Cartels hold sway due to the forgetfullness of the peasants. Full democracy only came about in this country after WW2. The people rejected the fantasy that there was room at the top so demanded changes that improved society from the bottom up. The changes imposed economically now will open their eyes again. When people get over the personal greed legacy created by Thatcher as their lives grow dim, they will again become politicised and more even minded.

  • @shinytooth23 The improvements to our lives have only happened in the last 60yrs due to the creation of the welfare state, post empire. The reason we are on the slide is because of the greed of the FEW in this country. China produce nothing but slaves for western corporations to exploit, until they can take the rights back from their own populations. when the hunger returns to the peoples lives you will see again what made this country great. The ability of the working classes to FIGHT!

  • @sugarraygras What improved the peoples lives in this country as never to do with the benevolance of the banking sector or the wealthy, it was to do with the threat of revolution presented by the Chartist movement and the unionisation of the poor. Workingclass people in this country lived in slums with open sewers running through the rooms they lived in. Improvements where not delivered by increased profitability but by increased politicisation of the poor and resolution to stand together.

  • @shinytooth23 'Rise like Lions after slumber

    In unvanquishable number -

Shake your chains to earth like dew

Which in sleep had fallen on you -

Ye are many - they are few.'

  • @sugarraygras I agree that there is an increasing wealth gap and 'the few' are getting fewer while 'the many' multiply, but I think the 'Frankenstein' imagined by Percy's wife epitomizes the current zeitgeist better than his 'Mask of Anarchy'. And although I am sure that anarchy is approaching our civilization, I don't think that it will bring the masses a better life in the immediate future - except the ones that like killing and looting. Smash capital - not skulls.

  • @shinytooth23 I except your premise. However his view was not advocacy of tearing the system down but the right to stand together and have a share of the wealth and a voice, which was the point. There will be no immediate relief I agree, my point has always been that Thatcher was the instrument of a planned Corporate expansion and we are reaping the consequences. It is the Few who like cracking heads and this poem was a reaction to it. See Peterloo.

  • @sugarraygras Your great nation was the first to grasp at freedom and thus far the experiment has faltered and failed. However it is my view that the current financial manipulations have gone to far and the mask has slipped. They mollified the people with easy credit and debt which has run its course so they will now seek to mollify them with fear, which will ultimatley force the peasants from their 'slumber' once again. Dont underestimate the british peoples capacity to resist tyranny.

  • @sugarraygras I've been to London and it's a great city - expensive though. It's amazing how many free or subsidized museums and tourist attractions there are. Taxes must be a killer, but the people looked too well fed to fight. Also, except for the taxi drivers who have to pass that 'knowledge' exam and the incompetent customs people I couldn't find any Brits working. In all the restaurants that I went to, I got served by Polish or Russian or some kind of Eastern European people.

  • @shinytooth23 :+} You have a keen eye. London is representative of the uk as a whole. The eastern europeans are utilised to avoid paying the minimum wage as they work many more hours than they declare. t is also a usefull divide and rule tactic among the brainless classes. The cabbies are a breed apart. I suggest you come over again and travel anywhere outside central London after dark and attend one of our pubs. You will probably have a different experience. I lived in London for 8 years.

  • @sugarraygras I take it that you didnt veer off into the underbelly. As regards the over fed its more to do with their addiction to American fast food. But trust me fighting is a part of the culture and you dont actually have to look hard for it.

  • @shinytooth23 I'm 42 and I've lived in London all my life. I'm leaving the UK in 3 weeks for good. This place doesn't have a chance. Immigration is a scape-goat. I'd allow everyone who wants to come (criminals not included) entry and at the same time remove the welfare state, sack 80% NHS management, reduce income taxes to 10%, reduce government to the bare essentials and be done with quangos (not to be confused with quavers)

  • @Avidcomp - According to your profile, you're still in the UK seven months later!

  • @frostek I have not updated my details, suffice to say I did leave and have had a very warm summer. I have learned new things that reinforce my view so it will be interesting to see how this thing plays out.

  • @shinytooth23 I think Jefferson said something about this. From memory he said that if you let the bankers have control over the money supply then the children will wake up as slaves on the beaches their forefathers conquered. Sound scarily familier to me.

  • @videolover61 Its cause theyve kept "stimulating" the economy and causing a stimulus bubble that is only making things much worst!

Trying to borrow your way out of debt is like trying to fuck your way out of aids!!!

Keep in mind in 06, 07, 08, 09, and 10 that theyve said "we've hit the bottom and are on are way up" We've had a stock market bounce this is true but if you look at true unemployment as it was counted before Clinton things havent improved at all, only gotten worst!

  • @videolover61 And it is happening. If you don't know the country lives on borrowed money. Baby boomer become eligible for their social security, medicade, the government size is unsustainable with current tax revenues, and what they do is plugging the deficit with printed and borrowed money. You think it is only government business, and there won't be any effect on you?. The direct effect will be that tax revenue will have to increase on your income or on your employer.

  • With higher taxes you won't be able to move from your parents house, you won't be able to buy a car. If your employer will have to pay higher taxes, he will be forced to lay off people. Indirect effect will be that dollar will loose its value. there will be hyperinflation and you probably know what does it means. Don't be over optimistic and too much critical on this guy he is right. There will be collapse but it is only a question how long it will be postponed by your government.

  • Jim has a 2 year old girl? Wow he must be 70 years old himself

  • I wish back when the housing bubble burst that the USA started fasttracking immigration. Immigrants with money to buy a house and soak up the housing market defaults stimulating housing and household goods purchases. It would have helped if not solving things and a better ideqa than more deficit spending and stimulus. That and getting money into the hands of the people not banks

  • Jim has been right on. Since about May of 2009 my life has been on a downward spiral. It's been the worst time of my life

  • Jim Rogers is full of it. After 1929, the US government didn't stimulate the economy. They let the free market play out as banks went bankrupt and unemployment reached 25%. In 33 is when FDR implemented stimulus packages. This recession after the housing bubble wouldn't simply be cured in a few months if we let the free market play out.

  • Yes it would, all be it much more intense.

FACT: 60% of the New Deal documents are signed by Hoover.

Just as Bush started the stimulous ball rolling, Hoover mearly paused before acting. The fact we acted sooner with stimulous, makes no difference in the final outcome, which is the complete destruction of the US Dollar. DOW 25,000, US dollar index 35. End result, Americans have TONS of worthless dollars.

It's happened 3800+ times in history. 3800+ currencies have

    come and gone.

  • @Luvanicebum Care to reference the 3800+ times in history? All I'm saying is, the government is not playing the exact same route the government played in the GD. Bernanke was aware of 29-33 so he is trying to DIVERT from that path, hoping the private sector will make up for the risk. I'm not saying that there isn't going to be a currency crisis. I THINK there is going to be a currency crisis. I forecast it. Does that mean there is going to be one? No.

  • @kkjhhkjhkj you are ignorant on these issues, go learn. US Fed turned a normal run of the mill recession, like what US had in 1920 and that solved itself in less than a year, into an asset bubble which turned into a depression.

It takes a powerful force to turn things really bad, and gov't basing its politics on Keynesian shamanism is that kind of a force.

  • @romanmir01 I accidently misjudged what Jim Rogers said. I thought Jim said the US govt was making the exact same mistakes. My fault. The fed caused the stock market bubble which popped when they lifted rates, but unlike what they are doing today, they continued to contract the money supply whereas the Fed today is expanding it. Inflation/deflation currently has been relatively calm. The GP was deflationary in nature. The reason the New Deal was enacted is because unemployment was 25%..

  • Jimbo forgot to allow for a BIG countertrend rally to keep everyone hooked. The second leg down appears to be in the early stages in September 2010. The market topped in late April and hasn't seen those levels since. The Dow should blow through the 6500 low posted in March of 2009. I think 2500 is a reasonable target in the next 12 months.

  • Time to jump out of the windows just like the 1930's. "AAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" LOL

  • Does anyone else see a head / body mismatch on the video of Jim Rogers ?

His head look completely out of proportion.

  • bow-ties ftw

  • AMERICA!!!

  • well my economy is in the dumps if 300 million other americans are like me yup we are poor lol

  • Uh, it's 2010 - MORON!!!

For the REAL look at the world, search youtube for:

    viralvarmint china will destroy us

  • All i have to say is LOL. Thumbs up

  • Never beleive a man who thinks a bow tie looks good. Case in point.

  • @123backinyerface His track record is good. How good is yours? I'd like to join you in your world of bliss.

  • @emichik86 Oooooh are you buying up your gold getting ready for the NWO? Are you ready for WW3 and got your Alex Jones anti nuclear fallout shampoo survival pack and your anti blue beam glasses so you can see Jesus more clearly?

    Yeah your world rocks!!

  • @123backinyerface looks like a christmas present was stuck on his chest

  • studies have shown that asians arent physically and mentally superior enough to conquer the world.

    pricks.

  • What we will see is the dismantling of the Liberal based policies as Obama and pelosi double downs on them. They will no longer be able to blame free markets or Bush as the cause of the next depression. As the government tries to seize the assets of Americans there will not be anything else to take; at which point the people will revolt against Liberalism and throw them out once and for all. This is the Lefts last desperate move before they are finished.

  • I am talking about Deficit vr GDP if you look at it that way its pretty bad its unsustainable. They will not invest in any of government assets they will invest in other country's who economy's that are stable thats like saying because my company is not doing good investors are going to give me free money. why Invest in a company or country not doing good financially once the world knows this they will run from the dollar

  • Jim Rogers loves slave labor. China is an authoritarian country that hates free speech. Too bad the US bought into "free trade" and avoided fair trade. Now Americans have to compete with slaves in China with their labor.

  • @Blueslide I agree...free trade is such a misnomer. There is nothing free about it at all.

  • @Blueslide without the corporations employing them, they'd be even worse off. still, the US made the best quality products at low prices while paying the highest wages until the 1960s. no taxes, no regulations, no governmental insanity of these proportions.

  • 2009 will be the year of Total decline for US Jim Rogers

If you say this all the time, then yes people will trow the dollar away... as long as their is a buyer then their is no problem.

Rogers wants to ditch the dollar so his investments can go up... its all about money!

  • stupid hubristic twat has murdered his soul and his grandchildren. talk about not understanding history. Ta ta jim scum rogers and your filthy worthless seed.

  • yeah, a totalitarian state with no freedoms or individual rights, "the next great country". LOL

  • general motors are selling cars in Asia and China.

  • Funny how you dollar haters aren't letting go of yours, your just worrying about the decreasing value and currencies have always gone up and down. The government has assets that well justify their right to print money. Take Fort Knox for example. They could pay all the debts with half a small room there. Just another alarmist trying to push your own agenda or what your lawyers wants you to do. You've got a smart lawyer that won't let you part with those precious DOLLARS. No DECLINE! Wrong

  • @kennyembry the last time fort Knox was really audited was in 1951 even if we could use are phantom gold to pay off are debt it wouldn't be nearly enough. the value of are gold reserves are only around 300 billion dollars, based on current price of gold ,the u.s budget deficient for the month of February 2010 alone was 220.9 billion dollars the u.s dollar woud hafto be devalued 81% for our gold reserves to cover are projected debt for physical year 2010 alone

  • Comment removed

  • @kennyembry The truth is Americans have not yet felt the devastating effects of the wall street bailouts because it takes years for monetary inflation to result in price inflation, the u.s dollars day of reckoning is almost here if you compare g.d.p growth to our debt growth back in 1966 one dollar worth of new debt would add 90 cents to GDP we are now at a point where one$ worth of new debt adds nothing to GDP and actually subtracts from it,

  • @AlbertInSanAntonio You don't know about debts. When they get high enough, you just, write them off in accounting. Cearly we're going to write half a trill off, but our Gov has great credit worldwide and tons of assest. Not to mention a much need tax for the upper middle and upper class that alot of you are. They've got to bring jobs home also, and bring back the buying power of the dollar. There's a Trillion Answers, but some of you want doom. Look what Lincoln did, he Suspended R Const!

  • @kennyembry You just write them off, are you serious? write are debts off to who? The UN? maybe we can write off are constitution two, whats going to happen when the value of the dollar gos down 40% you think people are going to want to invest in the dollar? even if you Taxed Americans 100% of there income it wouldn't even be able to pay for the deficit for physical year 2010 alone, are government has no assets they only assets they have are printing cheep money!

  • @AlbertInSanAntonio Much of what you call deficit is Investment Deficit. We were in huge deficit before WW2 and Depression but More spending brought unemployement down to under 10 from 25%. Plus what about all those bonds, confederate bonds Scarlett. Except the Union owns them, and just like Fort Knox, he who owns the gold makes the rules. When they come out with better numbers on the deficit or GDP, people will invest in all those Securities, Wall Streets biggest debt. Great Gov Profits!!

  • @kennyembry If the government has so many assets why aren't they using them? Why are they printing money instead, why not just use the many assets they have and inject the money from the assets directly into the economy to boost it rite? wrong !!again why shod we listen to people like you that did not predict the recession in 08 and then listen to you saying we are out of the recession, You don't know about this, You can't see the big picture

  • - Only a war will be way out of this crisis .... That is why USA creates wars ,

but I see larger wars in the future.

  • There is no such thing as a "normal" recession.

  • lol, I like how the journalist says: "like China for example" as if it came off the top of his head. This is Jim Rogers! telling him to talk about the rise of Asia is like asking Colonel Sanders if he likes chicken.

  • Wont happen! the economy will most likely be ok in a couple of years. People like drama

  • There they go again. Protectionism. That is code for (we found a place where we can produce stuff for pennies on the dollar and ship it back to the US so please don't place any import tariffs on our stuff for our great master plan will be for not). Yeah! I wonder how much Mr Rogers has invested in China and India based corporations?

  • total decline huh?

    2010 and a half

    still good,

  • END THE FED. THE MONEY MASTERS FILM...

  • We just discovered a TON of oil in the Gulf of Mexico!! It's ALL OVER THE PLACE with no end in sight!! HALLELUJAH!!! WE'VE BEEN SAVED!!!

  • The religious of money, gold and treasures creates all sort ritual like obsessions. When you see your govt got hooked in such religious, you better start a revolution for yourselves and the generation to come.

We should distribute enough modern technology and education for people to survey resources and efforts. Money is a very old technology. Money is very insensitive and crime prone. Modernized countries should build new infrastructure or tools to phase it out for their people.

  • "Beware of false prophets".... We made it thru 2009.

  • "Beware of false prophets".... We made it thru 2009.

  • It's 2010!

    What?

    A Few more years?

Follow what you believe it's best. The answer lays in within our selves. Not in other humans. they just take advantage of the innocence and ignorance of those who can't see clear, got it?

  • IT WASN'T

  • Throw the jew down the well and U.S. country will be free, yeehaw!

  • the self proclaimed worst market timer in the world does it again! Unfortunately in the long run he's usually right in the long run and he's made a lot of money figuring it out.

  • ok its 2010 now, and we have collapsed, oh wait... i am still alive.. maybe i am the only human on earth:)))

yea you mafia sucker Rogers! Rogers is behind the collapse of Ameirca, he wants America to collapse, so his assets in asia can rise!!

    wake up !

  • No regulation at all will fuck us up. Ron Paul has lovely ideas, but its really too bad that most of them will make things . . .

  • LOL ~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • US on the same path as SU but Soviets were much more competent than Americans!! Lets c how long it takes!!

  • WHO IS THIS IDIOT???

  • @midniteKnite

Somebody with a whole lot more money than you. You worthless piece of whorish shit! lol xD

  • Prediction FAIL.

  • well well well then

  • welcome to 1st quarter of 2010 nothing happened yet

  • Comment removed

  • Its funny that congress spends their time arguing about FUCKING HEALTH CARE as our nation descends into economic ruin. Every politician is the same, Repubs and Dems, it doesn't matter. The few that do have the brains and balls to go after the FED (ron paul) are such a small minority that they can't get anything done. I love my country and I can't do anything but watch it fail while impotent leaders fuck it up. I'M MAD AS HELL AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!

  • yeah you will.

  • @peerpressure1999

HAHA, then they have the nerve to say heath costs are going to destroy America.( like there will ever be true health reform in America anyway)

Most Americans dont even have a clue about OTC derivatives so why bother talking about it I guess?

The trillions missing at the pentagon Who cares?

  • If only more people were as WISE as you!

As most Politicians conveniently remain silent about their own major Conflicts of Interest - there can never be a truly Independent, Accountable & Transparent Parliament, Congress or Senate!

Think Freemasonry - think Senior Freemasonry!

These crucial issues do not need to be declared - do they?

Private Oaths conflicting with Public Oaths?

  • Peerpressure1999 makes an excellent point!

Yet no one offers a viable solution!

  • @peerpressure1999

Good to hear your eyes are open. .The only thing standing in the way of this corrupt system that is based on control of the populace through banking and finance is us, the people ! There's only so much these rats can do. No one person or particular system is immortal. The spirit of the people is. We must unite, stand up and let our voices be heard... the quieter we are are, the more restraint on us.

  • @peerpressure1999 The leaders that you see on tv are only there as a puppet. The real leaders newer shows themselves. They are taking the money from the people and the people can't do anything about it.

  • @peerpressure1999 - you are echoing the sentiment of hundreds of thousands of Americans. The summer of 2010 will be one remembered for mass protests, public angst against their voted in leaders and unfortunately massive economic decline. As I type this Gold has hit $1250 a troy ounce.

  • @peerpressure1999 it'sno accident. The Jews can freeze credit and make a temporary economic tumult. but they get the democrats in office to make things worse. They do it everytime. And health care is a way to put nails in a coffine and get a whole buch of people to become wealthy without every working or ever doing anything productive. It's there just to enact slavery.

  • @nVei06 First off, its not just Jews that control the banks anymore, and world domination/NWO isn't necessarily a "Jewish" plot, but a rich/powerful one. Also, You are fooling yourself if you think that it is just democrats that further the NWO. Republicans are just as bad, maybe even more corrupt. The republicans spend like crazy and try to control all of us with fear propaganda and lies. Basically, our entire gov is nothing but a pawn of the people behind the curtain.

  • @peerpressure1999 no, The democrats support 100% what the democratic elected official do and plan to do. The republican elected officials do not do what republicans want of them. So the difference is huge. The Jews control both, parties, but they only control and NOOOOOOOO. it is the the JEWS who control the banks. TALMUD. SATAN. That is the JEWS. They not only control the banks,THE FEDERAL RESERVE. but they control both political parties. They control all the POLICE. they control ALL THE MEDIA

  • @nVei06 ALL PHONE COMPANIES, ALL INTERNET PROTOCOL, ALL COMPUTER SECURITY. not rich people. TALMUDIC JEWS. SATANIC TALMUDIC JEWS. black people rape white children and the JEWS LET THEM GO FREE OF PUNISHMENT. oh yeah, JEWS, TALMUDIC JEWS, SATANIC TALMUDIC JEWS CONTROL ALL THE SCHOOLS< AND COURT ROOMS. THE UNIVERSITIES. AND THE JEWS CONTROL ALL THE EUROPEAN AND ASIAN MARKETS AND COUNTRIES, AND AFRICA.. YOU MUST BE KILLED. JEWS CONTROL YOU TOO. lol. haha. YEs, go somewhere else. here we kll the jew

  • @nVei06 If the jews had so much power, i don't think they would allow themselves to be systematically slaughtered in every nation throughout history. And are you fucking serious? Republican officials don't tow the party line? Remember when not one republican voted for the health care bill? No politician will dissent from the party because then they won't get the funding they need to run for office. Besides, both parties have the same agenda anyways.

  • @peerpressure1999 you just an idiot. the JEws were evil throught out the 2000 years. Health Care passed. It's smoke and mirrors. Yeah they want support of the people, they can't do everything easily. The Jew has the power. do not doubt it. They are about to be slaughtered.

  • @peerpressure1999 Seriously, do you know how to fuking read? This is a prediction from 2008 about what 2009 is going to be and IT DIDNT HAPPEN YOU FUKING DUMBASS. If your going to bitch about something, know what the fuk your talking about.

  • @peerpressure1999 the number of thumbs up on yourcomment is a good sign for ron paul 2012 i think :)

  • @samm1809 I really hope so. At least to get his ideas out there. The man speaks so much common sense its impossible to disagree with him. I just hope we don't have two more patsies running like fucking Romney and Clinton or Obama.

  • @peerpressure1999 i just saw some paranoid guy on another video conspiring about how ron paul is a racist. he's spouting obama rhetoric. who's crazy now? XD

  • @samm1809 He must be: he raised Rand (named for a fifth-rate writer/tenth rate philosopher). Rand is too stupid to hide it, tho he is backpeddling since he got the nom nod. Endorses discrimination in public accomodations (cafes, inns, etc.) and thinks laws against it are unconstitutional. Businesses don't exist in a vacuum.

Calls himself board certified ophthalmologist but the board is his own creation and not recognized by any medical/governmental entity. Stay tuned for legal complications.

  • @cdmsr well first of all, rand is short for randall. there is no connection. second of all discrimination is fine on private property. who's at loss? the guy that is not letting a certain group in his cafe because he doesn't like them or the guy that can take his business elsewhere? if there is a racist cafe somewhere, what business will it get? NEXT TO NONE!- face it it's ANTI-DISCRIMINATION laws that cause hate- not laws that say you don't have to accept someone's business for a stupid reason.

  • @samm1809

Who is the guy "conspiring" with?

  • OMFG! 2009 is almost here! Start stockpiling everything! Total Decline is coming! Not to mention Global Warming, Weapons of Ass Destruction, Y2K, The Antichrist and The End of The World!

  • I almost forgot Large Hadron Collider Black Hole and The Pleiadians Landing due october 14, 2008! The End is Nigh!

  • @zkr7a10 I know your just trying to be a smart ass, but honestly, use your head for a second and look at the state of our country and look where we are headed. Do you think we are in a good place or is our power, at least economically, declining rapidly? How would you describe the values of our society? How would you describe the state of our education and other social programs? We are in bad shape right now and its only getting worse. No one is crying Apocalypse, I'm seeing a downfall though

  • @peerpressure1999 Yo good Comment ! :)

  • The Third Reich produced millions of 90% silver bullion coins. Each Nazi 5 Reichsmark coin weighed 13.5 g and contained exactly 12.5 g of fine silver. Almost half an ounze of silver in each coin. These coins are still readily available today!
