2 years ago, they had a chance to beat florida and ohio state TWICE in basketball and they faltered. I love purdue. i have lots of purdue shit. i watch them when i can. My grandad worked there. A great memory...especially so since I stood in the ~35 degree rain watching Purdue run one and only one play for the entire 4th quarter. A double tight-end set, halfback iso...over...and over...and over. IU couldn't stop anything that game. So I stood and froze my ass and watched the clock tick ever closer to warm, sunny Pasadena. Best season of my college football watching life. Too bad the bowl game didn't match up...
