Thanks for watching and commenting; I'll have to go back and listen to the Blue Album again. (Just in time for the Red Album, if the rumors are true...)
Wow! Acoustic Blue Album! Sounds great man! "Pinkerton" holds a special place in my heart. I was an angst-ridden, whining 20-ish fellow when it came out and Rivers wore his whining angst on his sleeve all over that album! "Across the Sea" and "The Good Life"...ahhh college memories!
To be honest, I wasn't crazy about "Pinkerton" at first (compared to the other albums), but I went back to it a few months ago and there are so many great songs. I always liked "Pink Triangle."
I should learn "Across the Sea" or "The Good Life" and record them for a future session! Hope you check back :-)
Thanks for the shout-out to Greenlight in your video description!
Great song choice! I had no idea you were a Weezer fan. Perhaps I should've guessed when you mentioned the typical song length of a Weezer song on Sunday.
Thanks Jeff! I haven't listened to them in a while, but I really do love Weezer and I was excited to incorporate them in the Laptop Sessions.
Speaking of favorite bands, did you hear about Jakob Dylan's upcoming solo album? It's supposed to come out in May, but it's also mostly acoustic, so... I just hope this isn't the last we've heard from the Wallflowers!
Before anyone else sees this, I should briefly mention that "mostly acoustic" isn't a bad thing (um, Laptop Sessions...), but I look forward to the rock'n roll sounds that Dylan has incorporated in the past.
For instance, I love the acoustic numbers on "Breach," but they're part of a larger picture that includes full-band songs.
nice. this is my favorite weezer song.

Your performance, as always, is spot-on.
