Sorry Uchiha lovers but Byakugan is stronger. In the anime when they first showed Byakugan, Kakashi stated it was more powerful than the Sharingan, that the Sharingan was possible born FROM the Byakugan.

How can you make ilusions when he can see it is fake? Byakugan sees chakra you cant blindfold them they see everything they trace chakra hiding is no use
the byakuag is good in close combat, but against the sharingan, the byakugan is outmatch. the byakugan gives good taijutsu, but the sharingan gives good genjutsu and ninjutsu, how could the byakuga touch a sharingan user, if the byakugan is under a genjutsu and attacking another guy? how could the byakugan do against a combo of all chakra nature copied jutsus of the sharingan? the byakugan is just a solder doujutsu and the sharingan is a doujutsu of an elite.

u dont go blind from using sharingan.. its more of a loss of vision .. what happens is sharingan is like a battery.. the more u use it the less power it has left in the battery but u can put more power in the battery/ same as sharingan meaning if u dont use it that much it wont go out

Both have their perks but even though I like byakugan better i think that sharingan is better due to it's abilities. The beast thing about them is I think danzo got both one in each eye and that's even better!

Neji trained by himself, and unlocked things That hinata who was above him couldn't do with help. they train too. Matter of fact, whenever you see neji and hinata together at home, usualy their training. lol, srry just had to say that:)

Byakugan is better in my opinion...there are a multitude of reasons but I don't feel like listing them all. All I'll say is that you can't go blind from overusing the Byakugan :P
@Lazvii umm hello..izangai? and once you awaken mangekyo itachi says himself that you slowly go blind over time and that process speeds up every time you use it. And as far as stealing your brother's eyes: 1) the uchiha clan is reduced to 2 people and 2) when the clan was still alive only itachi and madara had the mangekyo and itachi would never take sasuke's eyes. Madara like in every anime is just an overpowered man antagonist that will get either betrayed by sasuke or beat by naruto

Sharingan can mimic regular jutsu and see through genjutsu and it can see chakra to a degree, but the Byakugan has far greater insight than Sharingan and people with Sharingan excel in genjutsu which doesn't work on Byakugan. And we don't know the "secret" of the Byakugan unless you're referring to it's one blind spot which is no longer an issue see neji vs kidomaru. Sharingan can't seal your chakra points or kill you in one hit

@Lazvii Umm did you not see all the sharingan danzo had? and kakashi has sharingan as well. Only one person outside the Hyuuga Clan has the Byakugan because he defeated a Head Family member. And again sharingan's genjutsu has no effect on the Byakugan. If someone with sharingan has their chakra points hit by someone with Byakugan then guess what? Bye bye sharingan and other ninjutsu. Furthermore it wasn't genjutsu it was fog/mist neither Byakugan or Sharingan can see through dense fog.

the byakugan is way better and cool there are certain risks when using the sharingans different abilties like naruto and kakashi vs itachi kakashi had asked itachi how much of his eyesight had he lost and also sasuke vs kakashi it showed him looking at kakashi but all he could see were lines forming kakashi well thats what i think
I prefer the Mangekyou Sharingan because it has Tsukuyomi , Amaterasu, Susano, The thing that sucks you into space, etc. Why I prefered it because when a byakugan carrier goes close to a master of the sharingan such as Madara, Madara can just tele and touch the byakugan carrier and teleport him into space so the byakugan carrier is fucked :D (my opinions)
In real life level 2 or 3 Sharingan, I would be the best athlete in the world. I don't see any instance where byakugan would be helpful other than cheating on a test and being aware of others around me.

Sharigan has Genjutsu, Amateratsu, Sasano'o, Tsukiyomi, etc...
The Genjutsu and Tsukiyomi can easily be avoided by any Hyuga member.
The other techniques can be prevented with Gentle Fist.

Well,as I've stated, Byakugan is strongest in terms of raw insight. Therefore, in the event of a genjutsu, a Bykugan user can detect the disruption of energies in the atmospheres or his own mind, or the imposing flow of the Genjutsu user's chakra.

@Lazvii umm hello..izangai? and once you awaken mangekyo itachi says himself that you slowly go blind over time and that process speeds up every time you use it. And as far as stealing your brother's eyes: 1) the uchiha clan is reduced to 2 people and 2) when the clan was still alive only itachi and madara had the mangekyo and itachi would never take sasuke's eyes. Madara like in every anime is just an overpowered man antagonist that will get either betrayed by sasuke or beat by naruto

@Lazvii you can't copy Byakugan,you can't copy any kekkei genkai. Sharingan can mimic regular jutsu and see through genjutsu and it can see chakra to a degree, but the Byakugan has far greater insight than Sharingan and people with Sharingan excel in genjutsu which doesn't work on Byakugan. And we don't know the "secret" of the Byakugan unless you're referring to it's one blind spot which is no longer an issue see neji vs kidomaru. Sharingan can't seal your chakra points or kill you in one hit

@Lazvii Umm did you not see all the sharingan danzo had? and kakashi has sharingan as well. Only one person outside the Hyuuga Clan has the Byakugan because he defeated a Head Family member. And again sharingan's genjutsu has no effect on the Byakugan. If someone with sharingan has their chakra points hit by someone with Byakugan then guess what? Bye bye sharingan and other ninjutsu. Furthermore it wasn't genjutsu it was fog/mist neither Byakugan or Sharingan can see through dense fog.

I prefer the Mangekyou Sharingan because it has Tsukuyomi , Amaterasu, Susano, The thing that sucks you into space, etc. Why I prefered it because when a byakugan carrier goes close to a master of the sharingan such as Madara, Madara can just tele and touch the byakugan carrier and teleport him into space so the byakugan carrier is fucked :D (my opinions)

In real life level 2 or 3 Sharingan, I would be the best athlete in the world. I don't see any instance where byakugan would be helpful other than cheating on a test and being aware of others around me.

Byakugan is actually entirely superior to Sharingan in terms of raw insight, as the user wields variable 360 vision, telescopic vision, x-ray vision, and overall, it has greater focus abilties.
Sharigan has Genjutsu, Amateratsu, Sasano'o, Tsukiyomi, etc...
The Genjutsu and Tsukiyomi can easily be avoided by any Hyuga member.
The other techniques can be prevented with Gentle Fist.
Byakugan wins.
