Hey! thanks for the video! I just realized a couple of things I never knew! Like, the well you put at the end of the road. Citizens go all the way to get it! I thought you had to build near the houses for them to access it! LOL. And your advancing was very paused, only 2 pleb houses and one equite house at the beginning! and you were doing great with only that! Again, nice video and thanks for the enlightment!
PLZ SOME1 REPLY. I am thinking to start playing caesars game, can some1 tell me whats the purpose of game ? on this video guy is just building. Can you conquer other cities, do something else. Its looks pretty boring if you just build and build and build...
@Zardikar94 the game isn't an RTS that I think you would be more in to, the game is a Resource manager where you trade and Try keeping your civilisation happy and safe until you have completed a goal. The Goal can be different everytime from building a wounder, reaching a specific amount of happines and also established a perfect trading system. You might wana try a Civilisation 4 or 5 which is a mix of Caesar and Warcraft imo. you build a city and kill other cities in order to win.
@Zardikar94 The thing here is to achieve prosperity man. It is kind of hard. Getting beaten every time makes you think in all the possible ways to build better, to structure your city in more effcicient ways. I find it most challenging. I've been playing from Caesar 2 until this number IV, and every time gets better, or harder, so to speak. In all this time, I have achieved a perfect economy about 3 or 4 times. The rest of the time I have been cheating for money... so, try it! You'll love it!
@atwooddw Yeah that should work. I played Spore on the same computer and they both worked fine. Just modify the settings on this game so it doesn't have such high output graphics.
@blueberry2358 Zeus, Pharao and Caesar is besicly the same game going through different types of culture. They are all made by Sierra and was from the beginning intended for history learning purpose.;)
the game looks really slow, as in it takes forever to build house etc, i dont know maybe im just speaking for myself but is it worth buying it if you've been playing caesar 3 for the past 12 years...
@PuppyXz Lolz. I forgot the Title. And yes, im american....... Anyways. Thats mainly because i played the game for a while and had to reformat my computer......... So my memory failed me until now. I actually was looking for it for a while. I googled Roman epire IV once LOL . I feel like a failure.
this game makes ceasar 3 look like shit lol time to go on ebay and get an upgrade!!!!!

@krisna106 What do you mean slow? you build buildings instintly, you don't have to wait for them to be built.
