  • beautiful....cant wait 2 get one

  • I like the tex-mex better than SCN pups

  • I wanted to get my GF a Jimmie Vaughan Strat for Christmas, but she is left handed and the JV does not come in left. Do you know of a custom shop model that does come in left handed?

  • @kimblers I would go to the Fender website and check or maybe gtr center could help you - JC

  • @kimblers just turn it upside down and have it strung lefty.

  • There is just something special about the soft V neck. If you have never tried one, check it out. It was "love at first lick"

  • i got a squire with texas specials im trying to get the deluxe strat circut and pump out better tone with the squire guts its just gives it a boost doesnt change the tone much tex mex are least favorite pickups

  • one word to describe: awesomness

  • thanks -jc

  • you tube videos can be an information resource - that is why i posted this- how nice to have the difficulty in life to be choice -jc

  • the deluxe is much warmer and the JV is much sparkling and brighter you cant really compare if they have different necks it would be better if it was dsame. anyway nice playing.

  • So I have to say that I like the JV sig better than the Deluxe. I love the soft V.

  • Thanks for doing this - I am interested in buying a JV. Nice work with Little Wing.

  • wow.. i wanna do that!

  • I love them both. Excellent playing. The JV sees to be more gritty while the Deluxe ash can be almost ethereal! Very very nice!!

  • ESUTERIK -GET SOME HELP

  • The tex Mex puckups remain aggressive and clear even at loud volumes , but if you are overdriving your amp you will get a more raw less clear sound . I have a 2008 am standard strat and like the sound of the tex mex pickpups better for live performances . hope that answered your question JC

  • Hi, at club level (volume) do the TexMex pickups hold their clarity.Very nice sound

  • The JV sounds better to me.

  • nice tones and playing! It's a hard to hear much difference in tone between these two guitars on the video. Which pickups sound better to you in person? The SCN's or the tex mex?

  • replaced the spkr with an 8 inch emminence -tweed setting -rp1 compression echo and reverb

  • wow! great tone... is your ad15vt stock? what was the setting?
