  • It sucks that no regular movie goer ever listens to this statement in their life.

  • this wasn't nearly as bad as when Brando did Barney: The Movie

  • Next we review the great Norman Fell in the classic remake of Birth of a Nation

  • I thought he was just in the simpsons . . .lol my world has been open XD

  • @Grantmeister32

i didnt notice until i got older that in the episode he was in the simpsons, bart says óh no i smell another cheap cartoon crossover' and now it makes sense

  • Here's another great show that was cut way too soon. It didn't even have a chance to go downhill like another certain show of Groening's.

  • The animation style seems to mirror Hey Arnold's. Anyone?

  • That was quite a cheap shot by Franklin Sherman toward his adopted Jewish son.

  • Is that Lil's voice for the little girl?

  • @RetepAdam

    Yep. Katie Soucie.

  • I believe the person who voiced Brando was Maurice La Marche, not 100% sure so correct me if I'm wrong!

  • @Tangomoose You, sir, would be correct.

  • Lmfao at :25. Goddamn I miss this show. Havent seen it for a long fn time

  • that girl sounds like one of the rugrats.

  • @zotrablue likelihood she will do as two of the voice actors on the rugrats were on this (kath soucie and christine cavanaugh)

  • @xSaz1986x ???? supose , you mean she did or that it hassent happend yet ??? because this is an older show so it couldnt happen in the future , because it already did.

  • @zotrablue either kat or christine will have voiced the little girl is what I meant. I'm just not sure which. Obviously with this being an older show that's long since been cancelled she won't be voicing anyone now...

  • John Lovitz is the man!

  • "Yea sure that's exactly what I feel like doing. Of course I can get together a little sandwich for your stupid little doll hang on a second." This show is just full of perfect deliveries.

  • YES!! Lovitz is Brilliant... When I realized he played Radio, my favorite character on "The Brave Little Toaster", I almost cried! I love his voice :D

  • 'Course I can get together a sandwich for your stupid litte doll. Hang on a sec.

  • That is amazing Franklin Sherman!

  • This show was well beyond its time.

  • where the hell can i find this show?

  • @kylanmon There are actually episodes on youtube. just type in the show name!

  • Is jay sherman a real person or what??

  • I miss this show

  • Brilliant show - so far ahead of its time.

  • Did James Lipton write the descriptions for these videos? :P

  • I fucking love this show

  • JUST LOOK AT WHO GOT EIGHT MILLION DOLLARS TO PLAY MR. FRENCH!!!

That line is funny enough! Brilliant useage of Brando!

  • @Chrispat8 Yeah, nothin' I feel like doing more than making a sandwich for your stupid dolly. lol

  • such a great show! Wish they would revive it! There's much to skewer these days

  • "On this TV, I do believe his nose is bigger than my foot. See? Isn't that incredible?"

  • "It stinks!"

I love that quote from Jay Sherman.

  • I love Franklin! And his daughter is WAY sexier than most cartoons.

  • "It stinks...." LOL, loved this show

  • Marlon Brando ftw

  • Not for nothing, but I find it cute people here really think the guys who destroyed The Simpsons could have kept a show of this quality going past 2 years. Family Guy made it about 3 seasons.

  • Who are the Guys who destroyed The Simpsons?

  • Al Jean, Mike Reiss, basically everyone in the credits for this show.

  • Uhhh, the writers for this show aren't the same as the writers for the newer simpsons, the guys who destroyed the simpsons are totally different

  • hey this is from the pilot :)

  • the cridict was on da simpsons once

  • yeah doing the voice of Artie Ziff

  • 0:03 is funny pause

  • i miss this show... anyone have this on youtube or is it on dvd.. very underrated show i loved it

  • shinjikun2009 has episodes not all of theam but most

  • It's on DVD. I have it. If you don't have 50 bucks, get it on Netflix or something.

  • Happy 4th Of July.

  • "Make a sandwich for your stupid doll" gets me every time.

  • get out to the shit

  • ehehehe "On this tv, I do beleive his nose is bigger than my foot! Look."

  • best quote ever!

  • I think the best Franklin quote is "The peanut is neither a pea nor a nut...Oh wait, it is a nut," hahahaha...

  • JAJAJAJAJAJAJ!

  • This show used to make me feel good at 11:30 on a sunday night on Comedy Central. The intro song is awesome

  • its not bigger

  • My God, the girl is voiced by Kathy Soucie!!!!

  • hahah i remember he was on the simpsons.

  • I really love how outdated this show is. You're not going to understand some of these pop culture references if you weren't around during the 90s.

  • i think film 2009 with jonathan ross is the better one

  • lol "on this TV i do belive his nose is bigger than my foot. look. See?" lolz

  • his eyes are different in each episode

  • Depends on the episode.

Later on, they revamped the character designs and made his eyes larger and rounded out his characteristics a bit more.

  • The little girls voice sounds like lil from The Rugrats...haha

  • That's because it's the same voice actress, Kath Soucie.

  • AHAHAHAHAH i love this show i miss it

  • Whoever did the Brando voice was spot on seriously. Maybe it was Brando lol.

  • Maurice LaMarche

  • suppose i can get together a little sandwich for your stupid little doll hang on a sec

  • "ya sure, thats exactly what I feel like doin' cause I can get together a sandwich for ya stupid little doll. hang on a second!" Kick ass quote.

  • Moar Marlon Brando parodies. I can't get enough of his parodies on this show.

  • Far better than Family Guy by miles. And as jballze said, definitely ahead of its time.

  • Well, if you prefer Family Guy, that's perfectly all right. Everyone's entitled to their opinion.

  • yea, Critic actually makes sense and has meaning...something family guy didn't really excel at.

  • on this T.V. i do believe that his nose is bigger than my foot

  • the way jay's dad puts his foot over the tv to see if its as big as his nose, that was classc

  • this show was ahead of its time. nowadays with teh family guy era it would have lasted

  • LOL marlon brando! hey didnt that girl sound like lillian from rugrats? :P

  • LOL it does :D

  • Thank you!! I knew that voice was familiar but I couldn't pin-point it, but you are right.

  • holy crap, you're right! :)

  • some ones got good ears

  • Katherine Soucie does the voice of both Lilian and this girl in the critic. so ya, you guys are right, its the same voice

  • I do believe his nose is bigger than my foot! : )

  • His Nose is bigger than my foot!luv it!

  • Jay's girlfriend was a shallow jerk. All he did was critique the film honestly, and she left him because her ego couldn't take it.

  • Well said! I was starting to think I was the ONLY ONE who believed that! Jay Sherman may not have the looks, physique, or even the willpower to charm the ladies, but he's got the brains, depth, and integrity!

  • @spinemelter2000 And on top of that, he actually provided something of a criticism instead of the usual "It Stinks!" that we all know and love. I know she was supposed to be written off after one episode, but it certainly says something about actors in real life too.

  • @spinemelter2000 She was just using him the entire time to get a good review. She never loved him in the first place. Just like the majority of women in real life.

  • This is the only time I what to beat jay up. I mean he lost he last shot at happiness just to give one movie review.

  • That would not be happiness if he had to constantly lie to maintain the appearance of the relationship.

  • If anything at least Jay has integrity, which is why he simply tried to avoid watching the movie. I think she only wanted him because he would give her a good review

  • The dad was retarded or crazy. Maybe both. Love the Brando part.

  • "Yeah, sure, that's exactly what I feel like doing..."

    LOL

And the foot on the TV screen!!! LMAO!!!!

  • God... the end of this clip was unbelievable! Completly unpredictable!

  • i have the whole series just buy it its woth it

  • NO U

  • OH U

  • Marlon Brando lmfaooo

  • the senile dad was always funny. I miss this show. Comedy Central should bring it back!!!!

  • He's not senile, he's just simply BATSH¡T CRAZY

  • or both :P

  • I don't think it's either, he just drinks a bit too much and has a sedated lifestyle to the point where his brain cells have taken a bit of a beating.

  • That crossover with the simpsons was very good.

  • Hey! I like Blue Collar, and I find The Critic hilarious!

  • Well it depens on weither what the cast is doing now, lets see Doris Grau who played Doris the make lady is dead, Christine Cavanaugh the voice of Marty Sherman, Retired in 2001 for personal reasons, i'm not sure about the rest though, maybe they can get five people back, but that's it really. Look I love the Critic, but unfortunatly it's to late bring it back.

  • no i am

wish it did come back tho

  • diluted maybe

  • not after 13 years

  • I do believe his nose is bigger than my foot

  • God I love the Brando bit. XD

  • Ok, I keep stopping the video and watching Marlon Brando over and over. Hilarious!

  • why this show got cancelled i don't understand so please get back this fucking funny cartoon.

  • I've only seen clips of the show, but I guess the jokes went over the heads of people who would rather watch Blue Collar Comedy.
