what program is used for the mock up? cuz it sound pretty good by itself, if yer just making a small indie movie and cant get an actual orchestra, it would suffice right?
@Darkforrest408 i dont see how you got this idea there is multiple patch involve we clearly lee see 12 of them in digital performer, plus each of them as velocity and expression data attach to them ,
this is a experienced orchestrator at work, and he know hes software and patch very well indeed, dont expect a result like taht with 3 patchs,
I have been always wondering what the people in the orchestra, performing the piece think about the track they playing. Are they like "Oh my... I love this piece, what a wonderfull composition!" and they shed tears while playing, or maybe they think it's a not interesting piece, but they have to play it anyway or they just do not care it's just a job you do every day...
I play all my parts into my sequencer as well and when it comes time to generate parts and score I know it's a VERY rough time trying to import a MIDI that is not exactly and perfectly quantized and I was wondering what you do to alleviate the pain of putting a MIDI into notation software.
it sounds like during the orchestration phase, you cleaned up a that brass walk down in the end a bit. Its a bit more subtle, but mixes very well! Great job, All of your vids are insipiring.
Awesome piece and great Vid - thanks Michael! I love your setup too. Can you tell me what desk that is that comfortably seems to be seating an 88key keyboard?
Oh my god. This is so great!!

I detect the main theme from superman by John Williams had a large influence on this piece.

@lapmarty I only heard him mention 2-3 vsl patches and a few symphobia ensemble patches. I didn;t mean that symphobia just was one patch.

Epic! It must be unbelievable to hear your own music played by a real orchestra.
