well done sir. You cracked it. I myself have had the TAB for this piece for at least 7 years before drumming up the bottle to sit and work it out properly. A finger twisting nightmare it is to play so I know what it is to play this piece. I've got to bar 36 so far - and I am determined to finish this. Step by step.

im not trying to knock him or anything, but does anyone notice the sound is out of sequence?? His fingering is not matching the sound of the notes particularly the high octaves.

Cavatina is one of the most beautiful classical guitar peaces I know.

I try to play it, but it is still to dificult for me.

obscura ! why are you doing this ??? just kidding i hope.. you are obviously NOT playing although your fingering is correct (left hand at least) ... but right from measure 3 you dont do the difficult "hammer on" ...and the sound clearly shows it is done .; so bad synchro is not the reason ... busted man !! no offense but you shouldnt fake ... and i heard you before playing very nicely ..

If you were really playing I could believe it, but you are just bad following some one notes playing, you do not press the third compass cords as they are and notes magically appears...besides you bad follows this nice and beatuifully piece of music

You are talking rubbish my friend, as I explained there is a time gap in the audio and video due to a synchronisation problem when downloading on to youtube. On my later videos this problem seems to be corrected.

The Guitar IS in tune I've just played along with it on a fixed key flute fine and once i saw your comment I checked it using TuneIt3.45 and its FINE :)

not really sorry dude i have a classical and you just cant get that twangy classic rock tone out of it. Classical is pretty much JUST for classical. A steel string is good for blues, rock, bluegrass, country, pretty much everything else

As a freelance vai satriani-ite..I just love classical but don't paly enough with finger picking other than 2 handed stanley Jordan stuff..and not that elaborate either....what kind of guitar gives you that sound and playability and what exercises would you recommend for this style of playing...excellent playing!!!

Thanks for your comment. If your guitar sounds too low then it probably isn't tuned to concert pitch. To check this tune it to a piano or keyboard or alternatively buy a set of pitch pipes.Hope this helps.
