  • I'm a screenwriter by profession, and this wonderful ode reminded me why I started writing action movies in the first place.

  • @kidvampire

Cool! Thanks for the compliment! Just out of curiosity, written anything I might know?

  • Monty python? Really?

  • @TOHOFIEND54

    It's quite an adventure!

  • I enjoyed your compilation. Great idea. One minor criticism is that you included several movies that by common definition are not adventure movies....Blazing Sadles (and a few other comedies) and Creature from the Black Lagoon (horror film) could have been replaced by any number of adventure movies.

  • Yes, but the comedies must have an adventure setting, and the Creature can be pretty exciting at times (especially in 3D)

  • By the way, I asked my teacher to show this. It's amazing. Hopefully he gets the email

  • That's awesome, dude! Thanks a bunch. Keep in touch, because In a few weeks I should have a video up for "Why People Love Comedies."

  • Awesome choices! If I could make one small suggestion though, I would add the Rambo. :D

  • Oh my gosh, you're right! I totally forgot about that movie!

  • thanks

  • what were the movies at 3:33 and 3:38?

  • "The Greatest Show on Earth" and "The General"

  • 3:33 is 'True Grit,' Starring John Wayne. 3:38 is 'Return of the King.' Both are awesome!

  • Nice Work !!! It brings back a lot of memories.

  • Fantastic! Thanks! :-)

  • holy shit

  • I hope that's a compliment! lol

  • high noon great film, crouching tiger hidden dragon awesomemovie, the matrix awesome, and that bruce lee movie, and more. but i wanna personaly thank u for adding back to the future to this video your right it is an adventure film and one of my favorites

  • You're welcome! Some movies are hard to distingush between genres for these montages, but you're right. "Back to the Future" is most certainly and adventure.

  • well done !

some good clips had already been made but this one is definitly my favorite ......you should make more of these .

how long did it take you by the way ?

  • I'm glad you like them! It usually takes about a month to make each montage, which is why I rarely do one. However, expect more in the future, because they are fun to do.

And by the way, I just posted a great montage from a 1998 VHS tape that celebrated MGM's 75th anniversary. It's a lot of fun and was one of my inspirations. Anyways, enjoy!

  • Tremendous montage. The music is tops and now I want to make a montage too. Keep up the awesome work!

  • Thank you!

  • The music seems to be some variation on the British Grenadiers -- what is it?

    Excellent clip!

  • It's from the Steven Spielberg flop, "1941," by John Williams.

I'm glad you enjoyed the montage!

  • brilliant compilation! Kinda wish you'd added a few others, but that doesn't matter much.

But hell yeah, brilliant compilation all the same!

  • glad to see Indy 4 in there. Loved Indy 4!

  • i liked indy 4 also, but i was a little dissapointed in it, can u gimme some reasons y it was great

  • The action scene at the warehouse, the motorcycle chase, the eery storyline, and the jungle fights were all awesome! The only disappointing thing for me was the end scene with the aliens. It made sense, but something about it just didn't seem right. Other than that, I thought the movie was extremely satisfying. What did you think?

  • i had mixed feelings...i agree with the action scene at the warehouse nd the motercycle chase. But i didnt think the storyline was as epic nd big as the original 3. the jungle scene was good until the CGI sword fight. nd wut really bothered me was indy used his whip all of 3 times, nd only 2 of them were him grabbing things with it nd he never used his gun+ the score wasnt heard much nd there was no memorable soundtrack nd i hated the aliens, a alien skull isnt even an artifact

  • Still, it was ten times better than the Star Wars prequels.

  • Excellent my friend!
