I have 2 of these and they aren't compatible with my WD HDTV streamer, might need to get this if it works.

I have a Q my seagate TV keeps knocking my Belkin N router off line I was going to get a wire less adapter do you know of any wire less usb adapters that work besides the seagate one .. trying to save some money here

Do you need an Ethernet connection just to access the files on your drive?

For example if I wanted to plug my current USB external HDD to watch movies on the TV do I need to connect te GoFlex TV to my modem?

2 quick questions.... - can u use it without a seagate drive? - can u use a small 16gb usb drive and get movies from it without the seagate drive... or do I still need to have the big seagate drive?

@luisrortega You can use any drive that can be connected trough usb from 256 mb to 1 Tb or more, but you have to connect it in the externals usb ports. I have it and is really good. I use a Verbatim 1TB external hard drive.

yes you can, matter of fact i am using mine with a 2 tb iomega external drive :D

is a really nice player, and better than the ps3 i was using to stream my movies.
