(i'm thinking to autocross in the P3 that i rented... stock... just to see how i do, compared to what i'm driving now)...

@dan3nad Because the point of hydrogen cars isn't to save gas, it's to create an alternative fuel cell car. Most likely, were going to run out of gas/diesel in the next 100-200 years, unless those scientists can use their special organisms to make diesel.

Spot-on. Toyota wanted a crisp, stylish, youngie subcompact along the lines of the Honda Fit or Chevy Sonic, but that looked like a regular Prius. They're not trying to create a new car, really, but trying to introduce younger consumers to the Prius. If it's possible to make a tiny, 55 MPG car look cool, then Toyota nailed it.
