Genre of one person! This whole album (My Way, released 2002) was recorded over a month while isolated in a northern Quebec cabin in wintertime. No phone, no internet, no contact with the outside. He used Fruityloops. And yes, most of the samples were taken by scanning the radio...

@iialves Look up a guy named Pogo or go to his site: pogomix (dot) net. He once revealed in an interview that Akufen is his main inspiration, which is why his music sounds so similar in style. 'Expialidocious' is one of his best tracks.

Yes, but taking someone else's picture, coloring it green and sticking it on a piece of paper is not a collage, it's theft. This is most definitely a collage, but some sampling is certainly anything but. I think this is more of a how-to guide for legitimate sampling.
