It seems many of the great mods back in the day were by nameless ones. Like Popcorn....who did that one?? I think nobody ever knew... This is one that I always wished would last much longer. Such amazing musical work...maybe one day somebody will re-create it in HIGH Fidelity and real instruments and better sounding synths. That would be something for sure!
You might try Modplug Player, which I think was considered the best and most accurate player for windows. Or maybe I forget, but I think that was it. XMPlay wasn't bad, but I think there were better players out there. FastTracker 2 is what I used to run stuff in...or WOWII - both of course in DOS, but likely you could get these to work via DOSBOX, OR ... run actual DOS in a virtual machine.
