Our whole family has suspected whooping cough. We have four family members, three of which were recently vaccinated against whooping cough. The doctors are griefing me over not vaccinating our young son, even though if he tests positive, he would have caught it from an older family member. Go figure.

Japanese people are much more susceptible to the side effects of these vaccines. I believe vaccines are evil horrible things because of personal experience I have had but I agree that people should have a choice always. However, they generally don't have an informed one. Japanese people are smart, I am sure this was totally needed. The chance of dying of any of these illness is less that the risk of fatal/disabling side effects. Of this I am certain.

Unbelievable how CNN tries to spin the death of those kids and the prudent decision to hault the vaccine regimen into an issue for parents that now want to get the vaccine that killed those kids and can't.
