Overcoming anger is not easy and letting go is damn near impossible, however what worked for me was I fought against myself in a sort of mental struggle after realizing that thiest are the way they are because of fear and fear can go a long way it can make people do things they normally wont do letting go of anger gets easier when you realize the people your angry at are scared and lost children

I look for the truth and reality. What I find is that nobody has the brain power to figure out the universe. Atheist go for evolution. It's a good theory, but not a complete theory.It explains some things but not everything. At least they are trying. Religious people believe is some magic super wizzard that used his mind power th create the universe out of nothing. Witch is such a stone age way to describe the universe. Plus the God never shows himself, ever. We don't know, that's the reality.

And, because you sounded snarky, if you don't believe in the claims of science, how do you find more merit in the claim that a universe needs a creator, but... strangely... a creator doesn't need a creator? That is to say, something too complex to create itself... must be created by something more complex, but not complex enough to be created by... something else...? Makes perfect sense!

Is that actual fact?, logically speaking, can I be an atheist and still believe in God? i.e. (as by your comment) Atheism = denouncing of religion or no religion. Wether god is real or not it was man that created religion. During my encounters with militant atheist most of them always bring god into it, and like I have always said, in Greek mythology, the Gods only existed because basically people always talked about them, which atheists seem to do a lot.

I'm an Atheist, also open minded, living happy, free thinking, all and all living life to the fullest, I am the only one out of all my friends that is an Atheist.
The funny thing is, the rest of my friends are either stoners or trying to pick up chicks at the club every Saturday, How come my beliefs of just doing my own thing, working hard and knowing the outcome, always having my own motivation to better myself, is working better than any religious belief that says', belief in God will bring :D

@remotehog1 I am only 25 and I do not have the worldly knowlage that you do that comes with age. Overcoming anger is not easy and letting go is damn near impossible, however what worked for me was I fought against myself in a sort of mental struggle after realizing that thiest are the way they are because of fear and fear can go a long way it can make people do things they normally wont do letting go of anger gets easier when you realize the people your angry at are scared and lost children

i also dont call myself an "atheist". some are so obsessed with disproving religion they sound almost as crazy as the theists. i think the texts of religion already disprove themselves. we should focus on contemplating what is, and not worry about what is not. However we must stand up to the religious fanatics b/c if we dont then there will be a new "dark ages" which will encompass the entire earth.
