Let's just face it, there are way to many disturbing anime. Then again maybe not XD. Higurashi was good, as was Chaos;Head. Elfen Lied glad you didn't show any part from it lol. Other than that the only other disturbing anime I've seen is Gantz.

@gohanluigi123 anime kinda cuts off halfway through the manga, hell more like the 40% mark, the villians never actually do anything in anime, they actually tell you the charecters pasts, they give charecters actual developments, kouta and lucy doesnt seem hashed on at last min ext, the anime and manga tell the same story for pretty much the first 6 ep but thats when it changes, apparently the anime mad eits own ending since the manga was still ongoing

I really liked Higurashi. I thought it had an interesting plot, and I don't really mind all the violence... I also REALLY liked Elfen Lied as well. Sure, it had a LOT of Gore. But I also thought it was pretty sad. :/ I haven't watched School Days, but I plan on watching it soon. It looks like a pretty good show. Actually... I think I am gonna go watch it now. Elfen Lied: starts off with WTF O_O", goes to oh thats cute, then back to WTF O_O" fora ep or two, some more cute stuff (and i forgot to mention the fanservice) some creepy stuff, then back to WTF O_O" before youre used to it and say "pwnd" at one point.

Higrashi: goes from cute to fucked up in 2 eps, then back to cute and fucked up again many times and leaves you confused as hell til the second season....then a happy ending :D

Higurashi honestly annoyed and bored the hell out of me after awhile. Maybe it was because I had heard all the hype about it beforehand and after sticking through it until the end, I just kind of felt that it was vastly over-rated.

School Days made me uncomfortable - it had that feeling from the very beginning that you knew something just wasn't quite right and some serious shit was going to happen later.
