ok why is the concierge barging into the room. you should have had the guy splashing in the tub, then pan out to the hall to see people peaking out of their rooms to see what the commotion was about, then the concierge appears and motions them all to go back to their room and promptly goes to the room to see what's going on. A bit of better acting for the hypnosis for the concierge to succumb to petra's commands, maybe a bit of zombie steps toward her in a trance.

ok on the train, you should have done a close up of his face, and his eyes going up and down, then go to the girl reading the paper and have the camera go up and down her to take on his persona. Then close up back to him going back to his paper. go back to the girl, to see her peek slightly over the paper with her slight grin. The whisper was good.

EXORCIST, JAWS, NIGHT thru DAY OF THE DEAD, HALLOWEEN. All landmark horror films that are the scariest in the world. None made in England.

IMO, when it comes to comedy, NO ONE is better than the British. But for horror films America wins hands down. With Italy a close second.

those movies you mentioned are indeed scary(well at least at the time) and i love them, but what i hate about hollywood films is the fact there so predictable

what i look in Horror films, i want them to not be scary, but atmospheric! and i find the heaviest atmospheres to be in Hammer films, French Horror and of course Italian horror. i like my Europian Gothic Horror flims from the 60s and 70s simply cause they have an atmosphere that Hollywood fails to achieve.
