@brian1969a Yep, looks great! Even my semi auto setter at times sets them a smidge off spot once in a while.... How long is your alley from the head pin to the foul line?
I updated the vid description and included the link to the pins (the specs are on that page, too). As for the entire lane, there are many ways to do it, mine is about as basic as you can get. There are other videos on here that show their lanes, and theirs are far, far better than mine. Just search for half scale bowling or basement bowling, you'll find 'em.
@djm50able You mean if someone didn't tell you where they were or who sold them? I don't know, just luck, I guess. I found them by another video on here. If you look in the updated description of this video, I included the link to the exact page of their website. I think you have to call them to order them. Other than that, I really can't help you any further than what I've told you.
@djm50able I'm sorry, but I have a full-time job, family, summer activities, etc. About the only time I get the chance to go down and bowl is during the winter or when there's nothing else to do. So the answer is no, I won't be uploading any more videos anytime soon. Sorry. Thanks for being interested, though.
The pins are basically half-scale. They're real pins, just smaller. The balls, as I said, are a bocce ball set. They're made out of some kind of resin. Make sure you get a set that's about 4" in diameter, that's about the right scale. I drilled some shallow fingerholes in one of them for easier control.
As for another video showing the whole lane, there's nothing really to show. What you see is basically what it is, it's just setting on some 2x4s
The pit area is about 2 feet long. There will be a ball that comes with the Linds pins, it's not to scale...too light. Plus, it doesn't hook at all. With the laminate flooring and the resin bocce set, you'll get some hook, not a lot, though.
@brian1969a How tall are the pins and please post more videos your lane and please do a full preview of your lane from the foul line to the pit please thanks djm50able ans please respond because me and dad are going to build one that is ten or 12 foot long
The lane bed is made out of plywood and 2x4s, the lane surface is laminate flooring (the cheap kind, I think it's called Tarkett...it's more plastic than wood). The balls are a resin bocce set, about 4" in diameter.
Just go to the linds website, find where it says "mini pins", and order them there.
What is the lane bulit out of and what are the demensions of the lane and where did you get the pins and balls and what stuff did you use to build this lane please respond me and my dad would like to know how to built a lane like this and please resond thanks djm50able
do you use a real balls or do you use linds balls
Bungholio24va 1 month ago
@Bungholio24va The Linds balls are too small and too light (i.e., not really to scale), so I ordered some balls from Epco.
brian1969a 1 month ago
@Bungholio24va I should have mentioned that my later videos show the Epco balls (black). The ones in this video are resin bocce balls.

Could have sworn I already commented on this. Oh, well, I'll do it again.
The lane is 14 ft long from "foul line" to the pit area. It is 21 inches wide, with some extra space (I forget how much) for the gutters.
