Andrew is a boy soprano, as was I at his age, but my voice was not as pure as his. This voice is seldom kept, for when his male hormones kick in, the voice shall change between 13-16, then he may have a horrible voice, but hopefully a good tenor, bass or baritone voice. The medieval Church actually had boys castrated, to ensure no hormonal effect on the voice throughout the life of the boys.
