  • Would be insane if CryTek would release a Crysis where you can destroy everything. Big rocks, streets, etc.

  • My friend offers this card to me for 120$. is it worth it?

  • @pufixas Nah, it's getting old. Get yourself an HD6850 instead, cheap as fuck and has DX11 support! (Crysis 2 is gonna support DX11)

  • @FunnyMcBunny

I hate ATI... I'll better stick with Nvidia...

  • @pufixas Give me one good reason to hate on AMD.

  • @FunnyMcBunny

    I dont like the name.

    GeForce sounds better ^^

  • @pufixas I said a good reason... That's just retarded, lmao.

  • @FunnyMcBunny PhysX & Cuda. (Becuase JustCause 2 with the realistic water effects) ;D

  • @FunnyMcBunny just sayin ok. whats the reason on buying gtx 570 ior better or a lil bit worse if you can play all games on gtx 260 and it dosent cost alot

  • Looks great! heres my setup...

    - MSI K9N6PGM2-V2

    - 4Gb DDR2 667Mhz

    - AMD Athlon II x2 245 (2.9Ghz)

    - Asus 4650 HD

    - Realtek HD Audio

    - Western Digital 500Gb SATA (7.2RPM)

    - DVD Optical Drive

    - Logisys 480w PSU

..Now tell me this. Out of the Radeon 5770 HD, GTX 260 and 9800GTX+, which would be best for me?

  • @GunnaLeeeeeee I believe that the HD5770 would be the best buy, Crysis 2 is comming out soon and it's gonna support DX11, which 9800+ and GTX260 does not. :)

  • would i be better off with the 4870..it seems to do better in a lot of games

  • @GunnaLeeeeeee Get a HD5770 instead. ;)

  • Can my Tablet pc play crysis?

    Specs:

    Windows 7 home premium 64-bit

AMD Turion Ultra Dual Core Mobile processor ZM-85 2.3ghz

    ATI Radeon HD 3200

    4 gigs of ram

Can I play it? Is crysis full game for powerful then demo?

  • @Daxter609 no way !!!!! absolutly not sry

  • @58ranier LOL I already figured that out on the demo I can only run it well on medium settings. I'm already trying to build a gaming PC.

  • hey man i dont like this question neither but do you think i can get results comparable to this with these specs:

    i3 G6950 2x2,93 GHz

    550 watt COBA KING 24pin 120x120mm

    Gigabyte H55M-USB3 U3 !

    1333 4096MB MUSHKIN CL9 2 KIT GTX 260

    1TB Samsung HD 103 SJ

    SATA LG G-H22NS50 bulk

i would really appreciate it if sb or you could answer

    btw great vid!!!;))

  • Yes.

  • hey dude thanks man!

after the Cebit i will propably buy me another GTX 260 and then it should really do fine!;)

  • And what is resolution?

  • what is that anti ilsieing or how ever u spell it do lol XD alota people usualy set it to X2 but i uno why, does it improve proformence? like to helo with screen tearing ?

  • Removes jagged edges and makes them smoother, but removes a lot of your FPS.

  • i want a good graphics card can you guys recommend me to buy this card?

  • I would rather get a HD5850 then this card, as it's out-dated and will have problems with newer games. :)

Anyway... Crysis 2 is coming out soon, it will support DX11 so you'll be better of with a DX11 card. (Like the HD5850 or perhaps the 5870 if you've got the money. :)

  • yeh i agree with the 5870 :D

get them in crossfire with an i7 processor soon in an alienware m17x :D happy chappy lmao

  • @FunnyMcBunny Only get 5850 if you have enough money. Not quite a budget card yet. If you cant afford 5850, get a 5770. If you do get this card you'll still be able to run games pretty well, just not as good as the newer dx11 cards. Using this card will result in crysis 2 being played in dx10, so visuals won't be as good. But Funny knows what he's talking about. If you can afford the newer dx11 cards from ATi, get them

  • @RaGeQuiiT Why would buying a 5770 card make you have to play Crysis 2 in DX10 when DX11 gives you more FPS then DX10? :P

You would be able to run it in DX11, but I don't think you can expect to be able to use DX11 only stuff like tessellation, as it lowers your FPS quite a bit when your card is struggling. TBH, if Crysis 2 ends up like Crysis, not even the HD5870 will be able to max it out on 1980x1050... I hope they do some serious optimization, cause they didn't do a lot on Crysis 1.

  • @FunnyMcBunny I was talking about the gtx260. I was saying if that guy you were earlier commenting to bought a 260 he can't play C2 in Dx11. Youtube just didn't add it to the thread of comments you had towards him. I never said the 5770 would play in dx10. The 5770 would run it in dx11, but probably not that great. I do agree with you though on C2 optimization. New crytek engine better be what it's hyped up to be. We can only hope they work hard on optimization, then C2 will gain popularity.

  • how can i copy a video like this ,when im playing??

  • Fraps, google it.

  • I cant wait till i get my new computer!

  • Windows 7 is better, and you will get more fps in games

  • Woah, nice screen adapter :D Im gonna get that for xmas present. And I wanna ask, what resolution you used on that video? :O I was just wondering If I can play with 1680x1050 reso and very high

  • it will be out in 2 days but for more fps i dont relly know

  • a release candidate version is available for free download and expires when the full version comes out,

you can get it from microsoft website

  • I've got it, but I don't know if it's released into the stores yet... I think they're gonna release it 23'd October.

  • "One more (Can't remember which) on enthusiast and the rest is on high/gamer"

    (y)

  • Hmm. There's something missing from the graphics...

Is post-processing at maximum? lil' bit cheeky saying it's maxed out when it aint, you know, maxed out. :p

  • Great quality!!

  • the fire and explosion graphics on exploding cars suck cownipples but very impressive!!

  • This Card is really AWESOME !

I can just admit it works with Crysis ..

    I"ve got :

    Palit Sonic GTX260(216) OC+

    Intel Core 2 Quad 9550 (2,8GHz)

    4GB RAM DDR2 667MHz

    Vista 32bit

    Crysis 1.21.

    FPS : 35-40 | 1280x1024 "all very high-no AA"

    FPS : 27:32 | 1280x1024 "all very high-16xQQ"

  • can i run this game on its max settings? if not, a little bit below its max settings? my specs are as follows.... intel core 2 duo e8500 @ 3.16 ghz(can be oc'ed to 4.something ghz-i think), nvidia 9800 gt 1gb gddr3, 22" inch asus vk222h, gigabyte ep45-ud3r, os-xp(32-bit) and 4gb ram? resolution is in the 1680 range of course...

  • I think that you'll be able to run it at high, but not very high. But if your lucky, maybe.... :)

  • What resolution are you actually playing at?

  • 1280x720, also know as 720p HD.

  • But when I'm not recording, 1920x1800.

  • 1920x1080*

  • i have intel core 2 quad 2.66 mhz ( not sure about the series)

    4 gb ddr2 800 mhz

    Nvidia 9800 GT 1 gb

    windows xp 64 bit

would my pc be any good for it ?

  • yeah but you might have a little lag. try lowering the water detail and see how it is

  • yeah your quad core would really get it, your graphics can play it on high (but i dont think very high, because the frame rates would go down at exposions and so on) but it really looks great on a 8800 gt so dont worry about it, you could game the game cleary and good-looking! :)

  • Intel® Core™ i7-920 processor

    9GB DDR3 memory

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX260 graphics

    Vista Home Premium 64-bit

    or Windows XP or 7???

will i get same frame rate cuzz im lookin at a pc with these specs,

please message me back ps. wich O.S???

  • Windows 7. You'll get more fps then me.

  • hey, well you really seem to know alot about rigs. Could you tell me if I can play Crysis maxed (don't know about the resolution) with the following specs:

    Core 2 Quad 9550 2.83 MHz

    4GB RAM

    GTX260 869 MB

    Windows Vista Premium 64 bit

    thnx

    p.s. forgive my total noobness

  • Are you trying to be funny?

  • haha srry, didn't checked your specs xD

they're pretty much the same. As I said

    I = Noob

  • would i get the same fps as you if i got a GTX260? heres my specs, :

    Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4ghz

    4GB Kingston 800mhz

    Windows Vista Home Premuim 64bit

    600W PSU

    Gigabyte Motherboard

    Thanks in advance!

  • I think so.

  • It seems like you know a lot about gaming rigs. Do you think that i can play Crysis on Very High and 1920x1200 with about 10-30 FPS???

    Specs are:

    Gigabyte Socket-AM2+/AM3 AMD 790X+SB750, DDR2, ATXPCI-Ex(2.0)x16

    Corsair Powersupply 650W 8xSATA, SLI

    AMD Athlon X2 7850 Black Edition 2,8Ghz, AM2+

    Corsair TWIN2X PC6400C5DHX DDR2 4GB KIT Kit

    Gainward GeForce GTX 260 896MB PhysX PCI-Express 2.0, Core 216

    750GB SATA2 32MB 7200RPM

    Windows Vista Home Premium 32Bit

  • Yup, but I think you will get more like 20-40fps.

  • OMFG! Thats it, im going to buy it right now. Currently im playing crysis with a ATI3650HD 512MB(shit) and 1GB ram(2x shit) and of couse 2,2ghz 2200E procceser :(

DO you think it will make any diffence if i change the Gigabyte Socket-AM2.... with a: ASUS M4N78-AM, Socket-AM2+/AM3 GeForce 8200, DDR2, PCI-Ex(2.0)x16 ?? I save 70$ that way ;-)

    And thx alot!!!!!!!

  • Not sure...

But dude, I would have gotten another processor, it's gonna bottleneck your card.

  • maybe im going to get the i7, or phenom2 instat

  • Get the AMD Phenom II 955 or 940, much cheaper then those pesky i7's.

  • what setting is this on?

  • Read the info part.

  • It has already been asked, but on what resolution do you run this game?

  • I think I was using 1280x720, aka 720 HD.

  • what video editor do u use?

  • Vista's Windows Movie Maker.

  • Interesting. I have almost the exact same set up. I get about 25-30 fps on average. Is that the same as you?

  • Nope.

I get more like 25fps min and 50-55fps max. avrg is probably 35-38fps.

  • I can play crysis/warhead with hd 4870 1gb on 1920x1080 very high with 20-50 fps :P

  • of course you can!.................

  • yes i can..!

  • Sounds like a lie. HD 4870 is slower than GTX 260 which is a BIT faster than GTS 250 that can't handle Crysis Warhead with Enthusiast quality @ 1920x1080 with >20 FPS average. The extra 1 GB framebuffer doesn't help much, just a bit. Unless you're crossfiring, that's another story.

  • no it isn't a lie i can play it with 20-50 fps . and i read that the HD 4870 is faster than gtx260 and with the catalyst 9.4 nearly strong like gtx280.. but i read this...

  • Thats wrong, the HD4870 is a bit slower then the GTX260. But the HD4890 is almost as powerfull as the GTX280.

  • Sorry, I was wrong. The HD4870 is actually a bit faster then the GTX260.

  • It all depends on Drivers.

  • EI!! FROM 4:10 TO 4:31 DID U ON CLOAKING NANOSUIT MODE RIGHT?.... HOW DID YOU CAN USE THAT FOR THE 21 SECONDS WALKING?!! WTF!! AND TAKE ONLY A 11% OF THE ENERGY!... THE CLOAK SYSTEM'S HIGH POWER REQUIREMENTS DRAIN SUIT ENERGY...

    nice question...

it's kind a patch or something like that?

    i never saw that before.

  • I edited some files, cause I wanted it to last longer. :P

  • mmm show me how :P looks cool

  • Google it and you'll find it soon! :D

  • Do you know why the names for the graphics settings in Warhead and Wars was changed?

Low = Minimum = Best Performance

Medium = Mainstream = Good Performance

High = Gamer = Good Visuals

Very High = Enthusiast = Best Visuals

    Why was this changed?

1st was Crysis Normal (LOW), 2nd was Crysis Warhead (Mainstream) and 3rd was Crysis Wars (Best Performance)

  • Nice! But the explosion are not soo greate...

  • It's kind of been resized and compressed, which means that the quality has gone down. You have to see this game on your own screen to really see it's full potential.

  • I finish this game...All setings to max. -_-

  • Then you need to check your eyes.

  • xD...Good Joke!!! Ha ha!

    Nice one...

  • Oooookay...

  • ... Im getting me one of those ^^

  • Nice

  • this is actually really good frames for a single gtx 260. what resolution is this?

  • do you know how to use devmode plz help

  • Go fuck your self, stop posting shit on my vids.

  • ok you dont understand nvm.... who gives a shit about tv's fps? im talking game fps. 20 fps= choppy as shit. 30 fps= lowest and still Have somewhat ok gameplay in SOME games, fast paced games 30 fps will render you helpless. unless you're used to low fps gamin.

  • All PS3/Xbox 360 games only show 24-25 fps, do they lag? No.

30 fps is fine, even for fast paced games.

Oh, and 20 fps isn't choppy as shit, it's barely choppy and that makes it a bit harder to aim.

  • indeed the human eye can only see 21.2 fps a second. the only reason one would ever need something like 100 fps is because of fluctuations, models are always changing and being re-rendered, but if something stayed at a constant then in 21.2 fps you would notice absolutely no lag

  • but they actually aren't. most ps3/360 games are run at 60 fps to account for the fluctuations, the human eye, as i said before, can only detect 21.2 frames a second.

also most good lcd t.v's can play at well over 100 frames per second. However it would look weird to a human (almost like the video was slightly out of sync) if one were to actually watch a movie at a higher frame rate than it should be (blue ray disks do this, while true HD does not).

  • You are wrong on so many points right there that I feel bad for you. First of all, the human eye will see a light that flashes 1/100 of a second, thats 100fps a second. Secondly, the human eye doesn't work like a tv or a camera, it doesn't take 24 pictures per second, it's ever lasting and never stops, so there is no such thing as FPS for the human eye. Secondly, LCD TV's can only play 60fps at max and ordinary tv's can only play 24-25 fps.

  • now you are truly arguing a philosophers battle, are you so sure that the human eye does not take pictures individually? people with photographic memory can go back and play things frame by frame simply because the human eye does see in pictures repeated over a very fast cycle in a continuous loop, and as you said is never ending --until i suppose in death or in sleep-- and I don't know where you are getting your facts. the human eye can only see 23.x fps (aforementioned [21.2] was incorrect).

  • Are you sure? I remember somewhere that the human eye cannot detect anything above a 75Hz refresh rate. (The rate at which half of the screen refreshes) This means that the human eye cannot detect something over about 37.5 frames per second. The reason it cannot take more frames per second then that is because when you turn really fast or look at a fast moving object, it is blurred, meaning your eye could only take a picture of that object in motion. Kinda like the shutter speed on a camera.

  • Measuring how many frames per second your eye is taking is impossible, it's dependent on lighting and different objects size's and motion.

And I can defiantly tell the difference between 30fps and 60fps.

  • funny is right- in part. Lets settle this once and for all. back in the 19th century pioneers within the motion picture industry tried to work out the most effective and cost efficient way of replicating realistic movement. They settled on 24 fps ( this being the most economic. less frames used = less film stock to buy) the truth is 24 fps is poor depiction of movement.

the truth is you can't measure how the human eye captures information and then process's that information in FPS.

  • Yeah, cause the human eye doesn't work like a camera, it never stops.

  • this is true.

  • boobs

  • will crysis run on my new pc?

    Acer Aspire G7700

  • great record!, i'm assuming you used fraps? what fps do you get out of fraps with these settings?

  • 25-45

  • Recording: 25-45

    Not recording: 32-60

  • What resolution are you playing this at?

  • NO WAY!

Its smooth like hell its smother then my 9800GTX even when i run on low! :O I will buy this one hope its not a fake :)

  • If you're gonna buy a GTX260, buy a GTX260 core 216, it gives you a 5-10 fps increase in Crysis/warhead and even more in other games!

  • cause its rendered at a certain fps not representative of actual gameplay

  • What are you talking about?

  • im talking about it looks so smooth, because when you compiled it, it compressed to a certain FPS, such as 30. which this vid is not representative of the ACTUAL gameplay.

  • It's as smooth while gaming as it is in the video, 30fps = smooth as hell. 20fps = getting choppy. Did you know that movies are only 24-25 fps? and thats the most your TV can show, 25 fps.

  • woa u dont even LAG? EVEN WITH RECORDING?! and it looks fuckign nice

  • Nope, not even while recording! ^__^

  • Oh Good

I think thats a little bit over 900€.

    I'm going to buy it

    Thanks man :D

  • about 1100$

  • OH MY FUCKING GOD O__O

    This looks so great :D

What does it cost (the system) ? :D

  • fps? :)

  • While recording: "20-40"

    Not recording: "30-50

  • nice dude! :D

cause im getting this and i want good fps ;)

  • I got the same card a few days ago. i got the Core 216 one tho.

  • It's an awesome card, have you tried playing Crysis Warhead with it?
