  • 1.Natasha Atlas - Daymalhum

    2.Asian Dub Foundation

3.Cheb I Sabbah – Madh Assalhin: Praising Of The Saints

  • does anyone know what album this is on i have herd it on slepper cell season one finale and what its called

  • Does anyone know the name of the track (or tracks) Cheb starts mixing in at 0:53 and goes through 2:21? I'd love to have that song in my collection. The combination of the dub-ish style bassline with the vocal phrases over top is just beautiful.

  • That's what I've been wondering since i found this.

  • daymalhum from album someting dangerous

  • you're right it's a remix of the Natacha Atlas track

  • love the musicians and dancers, they so enrich my shamanic life of death.

  • someone want to chat

    this video was good jo

  • The dancer is damn good.

  • is this natacha atlas?

  • i peaked as his show started. Damn near shit myself. He builds his music better then most full bands, which is my opinion, a universally great quality in music

  • I got to meet him at Bumbershoot,

    amazing show.. just unbelievable.

  • @Jordeleo I hung out at a bonfire with him at the first Beloved Festival. :) His show the previous night while I was tripping was an experience I wanted to continue forever...

  • Sorta like Ravi Infected Mushroom

  • i'm in this video...i'm the one in all white on the side with my friend oon. it was an awesome show to say the least!

  • oula... never seen so much bad vibes in the comment section of a music and dance video! Chill out. Om Shanti Long life to good traditional music

  • Well shut my mouth! Who'd a thunk? You're correct!! ... that's him alright at 03:43. Bravo, Senor Mezclanero.

  • If you pay close attention, you will see Billy F. Gibbons of ZZ Top walk by!

  • If you pay close attention, you will see Billy F. Gibbons of ZZ Top walk by!

  • Yummie!love to smoke a fattie and join ya!

  • Well I have studied belly dance for over 10 years and have been performing and teaching for almost 5. I took Frederique's workshop a few months ago and trust me it was not as easy as it may look! Although I normally dance more what's considered 'cabaret' style, I like to try different things and she definitely worked us all out. She also was slim, beautiful, and I don't see any chiffon.

  • Shoot! I wish I was such a purist. It was very nice energy that day as I recall ... I guess you jus had to be there. Anyhow ... please continue on ... I'm sure there is something worthwhile to learn here ...

  • If you look on my channel wild feather you will see Algerian music and a song my cheb sabbah with rai and tribal algerian music mixed in . Cheb Sabbah is Algerian and much of the music you hear has some influence. Kahena was a queen in the 6th century Algeria and is very dear to algerians

  • Thats different... I never found Sabbah to be a materialist.. And He is truly not a hypocrite. I have watched him walk off stage... I willbe real honest with you..I dont get into the whole fake goth bellydancer thing.. Google on here cHEB MIMOUNE and you will see a fluid north african belly dancer.. the real stuff... this whole goth tatoo thing is just some weird fad and in no way related to bellydancing

  • again..let people be.She is not the worst but I have not seen a single tribal dance dance properly to Algerian music. If you want to see how to dance to the ALGERIAN base of the music you need to look at CHEIKHA RABIA and CHEIKHA RIMITTI on youtube. You cannot even take classes in this because its just not taught in the USA.Amel Tafsout is the ONLY one who teaches this in the USA and she is ALGERIAN

  • News flash, American tribal fusion style dancers are American. They're not Algerian, and they're not trying to be. American tribal is its own evolving style, and they're doing it properly. Chill.

  • yo cheb sabah ton pays a besoin de toi les jeuns compositeru algeriens de undeground ce retrou seul dans l' aumbre en a besoin d' aide SOS

  • I doubt very seriously you have a clue as to how to dance to ALGERIAN MUSIC as there is no one except one person in the states that teaches people to dance to the music base that CHEB SABBAH uses. Frankly this tatooed Frederique is not dancing properly to this but i bed 30000 dollars that you have no clue either. He is ALGERIAN. You need to look at the medahats CHEIKHA RABIA and these types to even know this music

  • That's funny, because most of the 'real' bellydancers I know are kind and respectful.

  • still looks mediocre.

  • She is far from Fat! Frédérique is a great dancer whom I have had the pleasure of takin a class from before. Its all improv and I think she does a good job!

  • she is not fat, + she is at least partially improvising because she is not anticipating the changes. the holler is genuine, but no eye contact. looking to her peeps in the crowd + hesitating. i think she is a little nervous, maybe not as into the more classic punjabi music. i dare any one of you to throw up some caution tape in a record store + shake your shimmies. thanks for posting!

  • I think she is fine and KAHENA is very ALGERIAN BASED not Pujabi and KAHINA means queen by the way in Kabiilye. And DJ sabbah is kind of a picky guy...if he didnt like what she was doing he would stop spinnng

  • Does anyone know which song or songs DJ Cheb is spinning? I assume it's from his CD, but I can't tell which ones... Thanks!

  • we area lucky in the bay area to have good djs and producers.

    Nice!

  • She's not fat..not even close...stop accepting the media's view of women...

  • shes pretty... that girl is a complete twit

  • I don't think she's fat. I wonder if she improvised this dance

  • i think "thefairyx" is just jealous. frederique is great.

  • let people be. No americans even the tribal dancers know how to dance to most of the music he plays. Its medahat ALGERIAN music which is not even taught in the USA or in EUROPE. There is only one woman teaching Algerian dance statesside... Let people be... no one in the usa knows how to dance to half the stuff he plays.

  • Wow. Didn't even see a picture of dj cheb i sabbah before. thank you for posting this.

  • Yeah erm I Wonder why they're not famous lol :|

  • They ARE famous!

  • hello

  • Cheb Sabbah is very very very famous. He is also very y picky and I have seen him walk off stage when he was touring with Khaled cause he didnt like the crowd

If he didnt like this girl, he wouldnt play the music

  • good stuff, must go to my favorites!
