  • @vois Yes it is an iPhone , I have the same equipment .

  • this is not an iphone

  • can't wait to see things shot on the 4S with owle!

  • is the video suppose to be blurry or is there too many pixels for youtube to handle? I'm interested in something like this but i can't notice a drastic diffference

  • @TheAznJae Its blurry because that was the point of the video; its showing how you can achieve selective focusing like on a real Cinema or film camera. This isnt possible with small sensor video cameras and especially not on cellular devices...until now of course! Thanks for watching!

  • @TheAznJae Did you even know this camera technique (selective focusing) is used by many professional camerman & photographers? Watch every films, this is importantly used.

  • What is the song running on background?

  • @enkhan1 Its actually a song that we produced in house from scratch. Vid-Atlantic has a music production division as well. We've gotten mixed reviews on this track, so I'm not sure if you like it or hate it. Either way, thanks for watching!!

  • after i press mirror the image is reversed, how do i make it normal

  • @lifeform313 There a menu option that flips the image correctly now 180 degrees.

  • how did you guys get the video to turn right side up because with the almost dslr app the output is always upside side down in my default photo album and when i import it to my computer....help!!!

  • @TheFaceass82 You'll need to go into the tools or settings menu (it looks like wrench) and select "MIRROR". It will flip the image upside down when shooting in 16x9 mode.

  • @VidAtlantic thanks guys...yeah i just flipped it when i used final cut pro and windows media live movie maker...

  • How is the iphone secured to the OWLE?

Did you find a suitable case, or did you need to modify one?

Just picked up the Owle myself. I have not quite found the case to give a really good fit for the owle.

  • @varnonzero I had to use a bit of gaffer tape to secure it in there better as the iPhone 4 doesnt quite fit the OWLE that I had. Either that or I needed a better case for it.

  • Submit your film to the world first iPhone Film Festival

    iPhoneFF.com

    Good Luck

  • Other than your EnCinema 35mm Adapter, a Canon EF 50mm lens and the OWLE Bubo what other diopters/macro close up filters need you use? I have a Kodak Zi6 which I am going to try and use your EnCinema 35mm Adapter on to try and get the same effect. Thanks for any help or suggestions other than purchasing a iPhone :)

  • @TheCreativeJournal you can see what exactly was done to make it happen here

  • While fliming the candles, what is the system mounted on? It's shown at 1:46. Thanks!

  • @mothywood It's the indieSlider pro from indiefocus

  • I just what the OWLE BuBo looks like and it will not work with my small Sony camera. Guess, I'll wait for to buy me a iPhone in six months from Verizon.

  • I'm loving this and also jealous that I don't have a iPhone just so I can use this adapter! I have a question, I have a Sony Boggie MHS-PM5 and would like to know if the adapter will work on it? If so, I'm placing an order A.S.A.P! BTW, I purchased one of your D.O.F. adapters for my Sony HD camera and love it!

  • This is getting completely ridiculous now. I've seen better results on a Sanyo Xacti 1010.

  • @ValentinoScaramanga Yeah but can you call your mom or your firends and tell them how awesome the Xacti 1010 is from the actaull Xacti device? Well you can do that on the iPhone 4...you can also edit directly on the iPhone, go live and or upload right away. I dont think the any other video camera can do that...that is the point behind all of this really.
