I think you did an excellent job on the Tigerzord model. I would've done the backgrounds in CGI as well so it would mesh everything together a little better. If you are currently still working on 3D models, don't give up PLEASE. Just keep up the good work and in no time your skills will be where you want them to be. Trust me, I'm an artist myself so I know certain things can be difficult at times :)

You should remember that it's not easy to let the show models transform, as it physically won't work, that means I would have to make 3 models, or a very complicated one...Added to that, this video is already 2,5 yrs old, I'm at least a little better now :P

Some parts are quite hard to do, f.ex the burning background when transforming. Now I have in mind to soon start the original megazord (at least starting with the Tyrannosaurus). But I'll base it more on the show, and the megazord would be cool to have it more real looking instead of some blocky toy. Same problem as Tigerzord has :(

What guy? The White Ranger isn't 3D in any case. When it stands on top of the Tiger Head when the tiger is running, it is a 2D image, with a mask, loaded on a plane object. The White ranger when landing on the Tiger Head, is cut from the original footage, frame by frame.
I see ... but, not any game can carry the polycount of that model, it's a Film & Visualisation model, means textures are really high res bitmaps, and the model contains hundred thousands of polygons
The RDTZ will be SOO much better, trust me ;-) ... I haven't touched in a few weeks, but before that, I worked 2 weeks on it, non-stop ( meaning no other 3D stuff than the Dragon ) ... I want more of it, it must and shall be better...that's why it's taking so long :'(
Well, at least there were plans to make a little bit more...Just after the transformation, the tigerzord like "powers up", while hearing some loud flashes. I wanted to include that, but I never made a decent warrior head...And later on I started the Red Dragon Thunderzord, which I'm continuing since lately, and it made me realise the whole tigerzord thing I did, is rubbish...I should do it all over later on :)

Very nice. Too bad the picture quality from the 90s isn't as good as the 3-d graphics. If it was, you could have fun editing the Thunder Megazord's fights lol (I wish they would've kept "Go White Ranger Go" for awhile longer, though. White Tiger Power is cool, but the Green Ranger music was just more badass lol)
Yeah, Go White Ranger only was heard 2 times during the episodes, and there is no studio version of it, quite a shame. I mailed to Ron Wasserman about it, the composer, and he said it's not even on his Hard Drive :'( - I did the Red Dragon Thunderzord model a while ago, started it late april, but it's not animated, and I don't know if I ever will. First I'd like to learn more about effects and so on, to take it to another level !
Now I'm tempted to try my hand at my own 3D MMPR animation LOL (I dont have 3D Studio Max, but it's not like there's not good freeware programs, too lol).
Wow that was great man, this is Ken Benobi from Power Ranger Planet, the guy who did the Megazord vs Thunder Megazord battle. Sounds like there's quite a clamour for us to combine our talents. Not sure about how the specifics would work yet but how about it?
If this series was "re-done" today, with the original toy models being replaced by new graphics, I think this would be perfect for the White Tiger transformation. Absolutely awesome!
