i dont know how this will help you but reaMutated through infection, the Tank's only strategy is brute force. Find the Survivors. Pummel them to death. Repeat. Healthy Survivors can run slightly faster than you. Try to trap them in tight areas, or use a thrown chunk of concrete to stun them.

You know its a better idea if you 1-2 people use shotguns while the rest use the M16's. Then you hold out in the radio room. since there are 4 holes to cover(3 windows and 1 door) the windows should be covered by the M16's and the door the shotgun. Thing is the Tank's get stuck in the window's making them easy targets. Just light them up with the molotov's and fire every thing at it. Its stuck in there for at least 15-30 seconds and if your fast it dies right there.
