those are locked sims, you have to get a sim that isn't locked

@skateroren first you have to cut the sim down. a normal sim card is to big, the 4 and 4s uses what is called a micro sim

if your data doesn't work with the $50 plan...after you do the whole APN change ...the reason it doesn't work its because u need to add a data plan with the prepaid smartphones. and it should work

i have the $50 plan but i cant get data i tried the apn and it didnt work for me either.

hey do u know if i can take my gophone sim out my 3gs and put it on a 4s and would i still be able to work i asked att and they said no but i know they just want me to get on a contract.

the reason it doesnt work is because the 50 dollar unlimited is for basic phones you will have to add a 500mb data plan change the APN and it will work

im on the $25 plan. The first time i bought a data package i got the 10 mb for $5 and it lasted me the entire month. what you have to do is turn off all push notifications and use opera mini web browser. opera mini web browser compresses data up to 90%. if your going to download apps just make sure on on wifi.

No, it dosn't work for me on the $50 plan. Only with a data package it works for me... Really sux. You can use it on the $1 or $2 a day plan and the 10c a minute plan without a package but it will burn your acount balance up.

@zwart2011 Yeah, just use the 3G sim if you have one. Its valuable now since the new changes. Look on the back and you will see the differences.

@zwart2011 Sorry it took soo long for me to reply. I have been out trying to make some money over the holidays.

My iPhone is "NOT" unlocked. Its just jailbroken. Jailbreaking your iphone gives you advantages but dosn't add any advantages to going prepaid. There is a new simcard out that comes with all att phones now that gives you 4g LTE speeds. It wont work in iphones. Thats the only sim the offer now. The contact points on it are quare. The 3g simcards (from 3 months ago) work.

@zwart2011 You will not have any problems with txt or mms. it will call on your plan perfectly. Just make sure you have a sim from 2011 or earlier with the rectangle contact point on the back. (The gold metal area) Its a 3g simcard. I bought a new gophone from att and it had the new sim in it back in november 2011. I put it in my 3gs & also my iphone 4 that i usualy use and it did not work. it said "SIM ERROR". So watch it. Compare Sims. Hope this was help. For Data, watch My vids.

I have the same 50$ a month plan from att. Since I got it the data plan worked for 1 day only for about 7 hours then stopped. I have the same apn settings as you. I was thinking of switching to the h20 carrier from what I see it works all the time for only 40$. Don't get it yet. When I buy in a week I will let you know if it works non stop.
